@RepJackKimble That’s not the threat you think it is given the current level of idiocy in Congress. Cleaning house is not a bad thing. Increases in Congressional pay should be legally tied to increases in Minimum Wage and Social Security COLA. If the poorest people get zero, you get zero.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

I mean just flushing your toilet could get ridiculous - and I’m not talking about the water going into the tank. Every system needs maintenance and repairs…which need paid for.

@taxchic_k Sorry gals but I will be taking the Oxy while I recover from my knee replacement surgery. Putting yourself through a significant amount of pain when you have the ability to prevent it is beyond silly. Oh the sensible reason for it - the body heals better when it is less stressed

Accountants can be mad all they want about this. But I’m at the PASBA conference thinking about how we can double firm revenue with our same team using technology. AI won’t replace us completely in 5 years, but it will help firms like us replace firms who don’t embrace tech and AI.

I do have a question that isn’t supposed to be snarky, but might come across that way. Anyway, do the majority of men really still do all of this? My husband has the skill to, but I barely know a handful of men who would even have the knowledge to do one or two of those things anymore for it to even be considered in the “split” of home duties 😮 almost all is outsourced.
