People of Illinois wake up. The polls show King Pritzker has a double-digit lead over Bailey. Pritzker is the WORST governor in the history of Illinois. A lot of Republican voters sit on the couch and don't vote because they think we have no chance. We can't afford any more destruction to this state. Pritzker is a human wrecking ball who has never suffered in his life. Please let's make Illinois great again and flip it red.

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold."
So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house?
I didn't sell it.
I didn't cash out.
I didn't make a profit.
But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year.
Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

More than 140 officers were injured defending the Capitol on January 6th.
They waited six years for the plaque in their honor to be hung in the Capitol.
They watched as Donald Trump pardoned every single one of their assailants.
Some of them can no longer work and cannot even get disability benefits.
But Donald Trump has set aside nearly $2 BILLION of your taxpayer money to pay the criminals who assaulted them.
It’s a punch in the face to every police officer in this country who puts his or her life on the line to protect us.
I support Officers Daniel Hodges and Harry Dunn in their lawsuit to stop this outrageous scheme.

We still haven’t had a real hearing on the rise of white supremacist violence, the lives lost, or the extremist groups empowered by dangerous Republican rhetoric.
But somehow, Republicans found time to hold a hearing claiming the Southern Poverty Law Center is “manufacturing hate.”
Meanwhile, they’re defending an almost $2 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund that could put money in the pockets of January 6 extremists — including people tied to white supremacist groups that attacked our democracy.

He has come up with no plan at all about how the Bears would end up in the city of Chicago. So that’s problematic. I’d love them to be in the city but we are three years in now and he still has no plan.” “The mayor has shown up every spring at the end of session to pronounce what he would like to see happen. As you know the budget gets put together starting in November…I present that budget to the legislature in February. So that seems like a good time period to come talk to the governor’s office. Then there’s February to May. There’s all that time to come talk to the legislature, which has my budget in hand, or the governor’s office.” “Again, we’ve seen almost nothing out of the mayoral administration here on that subject or really any other. So to show up in May and have a bunch of demands seems like late in the game. And it’s unfortunate that’s happened most years.” Johnson’s chief of external affairs is Kennedy Bartley, who formerly worked as a Chicago Teachers Union-funded organizer for police and prison abolition. The mayor’s former top lobbyist, Sydney Holman, resigned in 2024 after Johnson elevated Bartley to oversee the mayor’s office of intergovernmental affairs.

More than three million Virginians cast their ballots in Virginia’s redistricting referendum, and the majority of Virginia voters voted to push back against a President who said he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats in Congress with a temporary and responsive referendum. They made their voices heard.
I am disappointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia’s ruling, but my focus as Governor will be on ensuring that all voters have the information necessary to make their voices heard this November in the midterm elections because in those elections we — the voters — will have the final say.

Let me be clear: I strongly support the SAFE-T Act. A person's wealth should not determine if they stay in jail.
