Let us speak with epidemiological discipline. Let the record be clean. 👉If there are Ebola deaths in Uganda, state them with source, district, date, and confirmation. 👉If the deaths are in DRC, do not baptise Uganda into another nation’s mortality statistics. 👉If the number is regional, say regional. 👉If the risk is cross-border, say cross-border. Public health communication must inform without inflaming, warn without wounding, and protect without creating unnecessary panic. Facts are not decoration. In an outbreak, facts are medicine.

We have more followers, more phones, and more access to each other than ever before, yet so many people have never felt this lonely. A Holy Mass will be held today at 9:00am at Mbuya Catholic Parish. Thereafter, the body will travel to Masindi Municipality, Kisarabwire Village, where a vigil will be held on Wednesday at the family home of Afande @Tom_Magambo. Burial will take place on Thursday at 2:00pm in Kisarabwire, Masindi, about 2km from Masindi Municipality. We sincerely thank all those who have supported and stood with Afande @Tom_Magambo and the entire family during this difficult time.
