Poland should buy Germany. Not the whole country. But the best parts of its economy - right now, at a massive discount. German companies are going bankrupt at record pace. 1,466 insolvencies in February alone - 58% above pre-pandemic levels. A 435-year-old bakery just folded. 30% of German SMEs in some sectors wiped out in a decade. And 2026 is tracking worse. Polish companies are sitting on piles of cash with nowhere to deploy it (or just buying another condohotel apartment in Międzyzdroje). German Mittelstand firms are selling for cents on the euro. Proven brands, skilled teams, EU supply chains - all there for the taking. For 30 years capital flowed west to east. Time to reverse it.

As a software engineer, I'd rather make €37,000 in Europe and receive: - Free healthcare - Diverse society - Affordable public transit - Privacy protections - Strong employee laws .... than make $46,000 in the US for the same job, without any of those benefits
