When I first started managing, I delegated work terribly. 5 minutes of vague direction and an encouraging "you'll figure it out." Three weeks later, I'd be underwhelmed. The fix wasn't more detail. It was greater precision. Here's are the 5 lines you need to delegate anything:

I was tutoring a girl for calculus and I told her, "I already know every mistake you're gonna make. It took me four tries to pass calculus."
That's 100% true, btw.
She looked me like her parents made a big mistake.
She went on to get a 4 on the Calc BC exam.
A good teacher is someone who struggled. They are immune to the curse of knowledge.

Had a pro come and “coach” the kids once when my oldest was still playing club. Everyone was excited. You know blocked out the day. Made sure all the kids was there. And his advice was basically. “Kick the ball and score!” Because he’s always just been gifted that way. Clearly had zero concept of his to teach someone to do what he “just did” without really thinking about it. He was nice. Super cool guy. Very encouraging to the kids but zero help for the four hour workshop.

A. Repricing upwards for a long time to come
B. Paying a huge premium for companies with/building a supply chain stack in house and/or with long term contracts to buy the scarcity in the market
C. A total soup to nuts re-industrialization is happening
D. America is booming
