@st_halvard Not too many races left after Olympics that qualify for 2021 - Frankfurt, Copenhagen, cutoff end of August. Iden is fine (no validation needed for 2021). Any more details?

@TriRating Can you help us? We're in an argument: have Jan and Gustav Iden to validate their slots racing an IRONMAN, haven't they?

Looking forward to watching what I’m sure will be a fascinating race at #IMTulsa 2mo. And if I’ve read correctly (and I’m confident I have 🤓) there are 7 & 9 M & F already KQ, with a possible 4 slots available to each race. Meaning a top 11 & 13 finish *could* be enough! G’luck!

@antoinejdtri Transitions are always a bit tricky ... 1. Make sure they are indeed included in one of the legs, i.e. Total close to s+b+r 2. Typically, T1 should be included in the bike and T2 in the run, but I don't think there's a hard rule for it.

@TriRating hi Thorsten, I’m analyzing Challenge Roth finishing times and splits since 1990 for a study and was wondering, when Transitions times are not mentioned, is T1 included in the swim or bike time, and is T2 included in the bike or run time. Thanks

@antoinejdtri Oh, I'd love to see/comment on that study! Feel free to send to thorsten(at)trirating(dot)com. We could also ask Felix for his comments if it helps your story.

@TriRating I'm curious do you have any data that might shed light on whether the # or % of female age group registrants in long course triathlon had increased between 2010 and 2019?

Almost reached one of my "triathlon life goals" with this episode by @Bob_Babbitt. Next step: Have a similar chat in the week before Kona in Kona (instead of just a Kona background)! #FingersCrossed

@thecreativepenn Thanks. My friend and I were looking for something so we could do "drop shipping" with Ingram but couldn't find anything. We just wanted to make sure that we haven't overlooked anything obvious 😃

@alecriddle @bbculp From the IM website ... most races now paying 8 or 10 deep, and money has been shifted a bit to the lower ranks.

@bbculp @TriRating In a race with a prize purse of 100k how much do the winners get & how deep do they pay? Can’t imagine 100k going very far!
