I read somewhere that Blumhouse got this young kid to act as kind of a "face" for the film while a more experienced director was behind the scenes actually putting the work in.

Did you notice the difference on defense? Teams weren't looking to jack up the first three they could, so the perimeter D was played differently.
I think they should explore moving back the 3 point line, but they would have to widen the court or you would just see a ton of corner 3's. That could lead to unintended changes. Hmm. 🤔
