I’ve written and researched the whole seven front war since 7th October. It has been my whole professional life. I’ve written many papers and have just finished my book. I have written both positive and negative critiques of the war. All of that feels irrelevant in this context. The most meaningful thing I have done since 7th October is bear witness and relay the horrors done that day. I have seen part of the sexual crime evidence in this report (above and beyond the 47 minute reel) and it remains the most horrific thing I have seen in my life. Nothing Israel has done in Gaza comes remotely close to the horrors of 7th October. The Gaza war and 7th October don’t deserve to be in the same conversation when it comes to atrocity. No comparison. The rapes are the thing Hamas and their supporters are most scared of being exposed to the world. Every time I have written about what I have seen, 5x the usual amount of bots descend upon my replies. Abuse and outright denial. Now, the evidence I have seen, and more, is out there. When Yoav Gallant said Israel was fighting human animals in Hamas, he was absolutely correct. Read it for yourself: civilc.org/silenced-no-mo…

Parenting is HARD! That’s why grandparents find it easier! But both roles are so important. And parents, if you do it right and hold the line in the right way, you can look forward to the day your little one makes you into a grandparent! 🥰

Reading FC Supporter Services
Hi Tim, you can give notice at any point, it's just the case that if you would like to end the subscription at exactly 12 months, the latest time you can give notice is 9 months in. In theory you could give notice as soon as you have signed up. After 12 months, the subscription continues on a monthly basis rather than resetting to another full 12 months.

Hey #readingfc fans - here's a spreadsheet to work out whether subscription or season ticket is best for you. Copy the spreadsheet for yourself, answer questions in column H, and you'll get some idea of overall costs over the season for each subscription option in row 26! I did this to help me, hope it helps others too :) Disclaimer, my sums may not add up. #gid=0" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… May be of interest @TalkReading @ReadingFC @RFCCommunity @RFC_Analysis @ElmParkRoyals

@sjmaple I've had a few years of saying I might not, but my heart always knows I'll renew - like I have done for the last 27 years lol

@sjmaple I think if I go for a subscription, the main risk is if I don't want to renew next year, as you have to give 3 months notice to end it and can only do that after 12 months...so you could have to pay 3 months for nothing? unless I'm understanding the T & C's wrongly!

If you're new to google sheets, you'll need to make your own copy of the spreadsheet, and then you can edit like this:

@archivetvmus71 Simpler times - but the characters were so good! Got to be room for a soap opera that just does character stuff without all the depressing drama today.

Coronation Street - written by Kay McManus (16th April 1973). There's a touch of social embarrassment in the air after Mrs Walker mistakes the retiring mayoress, Ethel Bostock (Pearl Hackney), for the prospective temporary cleaner.

@MichaelTSS55 @ReadingFC It's frustrating, but looking at the whole picture I trust Couhig and with a new striker in the summer (?) next season could be so much better...all this will make promotion so much sweeter when it comes.

@Tsurvy @ReadingFC Why did he keep Hunt on and not back him when he was always going to sack him, wasting half a season. LR was a terrible appointment and again left it too late to make a change. All on the cheap and getting mates in. LR has massively underachieved are now just a mid table L1 team

This has got to be one of the worst seasons we've had in 30+ years. Given the club was on the brink, that's an 'impressive' feat. Zero optimism for next season either 😫 Any player that actually wants to play football will be looking to exit & fear we are in for another bumpy summer. #ReadingFC

Six years on and the fight continues. I spent 20 days watching my Angie die. No-one else should lose loved ones to this sort of ambulance failure. Please share if you believe patients deserve better. #AngelaLowe #PatientSafety

Six years ago today, at our home in #Newmarket, my lovely Angie received “a massive bollocking” from a paramedic for calling 111. Even though a 111 clinician had made the decision to send an ambulance, a uniformed, on-duty NHS paramedic told Angie — half a dozen times — that she should not have called. The next time she had similar symptoms, she hesitated and delayed calling 111. By the time she did, it was too late. She died because of constricted blood supply during the delay. Six years on, I am still fighting for the full truth and accountability. Angie, I will keep fighting — for you. Story here: x.com/JeremyNLowe62/… #AngelaLowe #PatientSafety

I give you the golden age of UK telly. There were quite a few blokes like this around when @StephenMoss_TV and I joined the BBC in 1982. And some similar women too to be fair. I well remember the truly formidable Biddy Baxter yelling on network talkback when I worked the live Look North gallery in Newcastle. God help you if you snipped ten seconds off the end of her Blue Peter!

The thing that really gets to me isn't the idea of #ReadingFC not finishing in the top six - that's a tough achievement at the best of times It's just how complacent we seem - at a time when we need to be raising our game Not enough going forwards, careless at the end to concede late goals... it's so frustrating

Could it be that a lot of people going on these marches genuinely have no idea what they are supporting, or do they consciously support this murderous, tyrannical regime and therefore the continued suppression of the Iranian people?

Boys have to be 15 to be executed in Iran. Girls only 9. Child brides are often sentenced to death. Iran is also the world’s leading executioner of women. Think of that when you hear anyone support the regime.
