Feeling cute, might unleashing mind-flaying horrors on the world later, idk.

It's next level insane that someone like Eric Swalwell knew about all the skeletons in his own closet and still decided to run for Governor? How delusional are these people that they don't think this shit will come up?

Let yourself occasionally get a little screwed in exchange for not having to live with your guard up all the time. It’s worth it.

An attack on our embassy (Islamabad) and now an apparent (still unconfirmed) terrorist attack here at home (Austin) will raise some concerns/criticisms about whether we're properly prepared for the fallout of the war in Iran.

Update on the meeting; according to Axios Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave Dario Amodei until Friday night to give the military unfettered access to Claude or face the consequences, which may even include invoking the Defense Production Act to force the training of a WarClaude

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth today announced the launch of GenAI.mil, a new military-focused platform that places the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the hands of all members of the United States Armed Forces, currently featuring Google Cloud's Gemini and eventually also xAI’s Grok, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and Anthropic’s Claude. “The future of American warfare is here, and it's spelled AI," Hegseth said, “AI tools present boundless opportunities to increase efficiency, and we are thrilled to witness AI's future positive impact across the War Department.”

This is, unsurprisingly, nonsensical. Is he suggesting eliminating health insurance and giving people a few thousand dollars instead? And then when they get a cancer diagnosis they just go bankrupt? He is so unserious. That's why we are shut down and Americans know it.
