@Kurt_Steiner This makes little sense, what they failed to consider was the importance of the United States and some scientific advancements in the UK they were not aware of, otherwise their calculations would have been pretty accurate, leaving aside bad strategic and tactical considerations.

This is totally ignorant & why people shouldn't opine about things outside their expertise. As part of a chain of archipelagos that stretches from Japan to the Philippines, Taiwan acts as a formidable geographic and naval barrier to China. If it gets Taiwan, it's not contained.

I don’t even know if it’s just cultural commentary anymore. It’s thought, generally. So much of this outrage, since the Super Bowl, especially, seems so forced. It may have always been, but it’s gotten especially tiresome. You can’t be angry forever. You have to build something.
