There is a lot of confusion about my meaning here. Let me clarify:
"Woke" is two things, a left wing movement, and a term sometimes applied to other political forces who are claimed to behave in an analagous way. I think the people saying "woke right" are abusing the term.

The term "woke right" always made me wonder. It was used against people who weren't typically slinging accusations of bigotry or attempting to shut others down, by people who were using exactly those tactics. The meaning was inverted--because woke invariably turns irony up to 11

She’s actually probably correct. I think the normies get up, go to work, come home, spend a little time with their families and try to relax for a couple hours before they have to do it all over again. They don’t spend a ton of time on Twitter and they probably look at it as just another of an endless attempt to take down Trump all of which have failed. They are not like the political wonks and activists on Twitter.

Trading Steph to a contender would be doing him a favor. It would give him a chance for a 5th ring. He has almost no chance now with Butler injured. It would also be good for the Warriors and give them a chance to rebuild.
Keeping him and getting nothing is going be sad. He will play out his contract on a mediocre team and then the Warriors will probably be terrible for many years to come.

Draft picks are not magic spells. They turn into players. Who usually aren't great.

The Bill Walsh wish-casting is always just basically taking any star and saying Walsh would've traded him when that's a massive over-simplification of everything.
He traded Joe Montana because he had Steve Young. The Warriors don't have Steve Young.
