@Avis Thank u Blake, appreciate the explanation - helps to understand the process better. There still needs to be a better solution to this - perhaps this policy can be flexible based on the exact car in question i.e, if it isn’t booked by another customer u don’t charge a full 24hrs.

@TweetsByDamien Hello I am sorry that you were charged so much for an extra hour. We do this to ensure that the vehicles are brought back within the 24-hour time frame so they can be rented out to the next customer that is counting on the car being there for them. Thanks Blake

Question to @TeamEuropcar_en @SixtUSA @Enterprise @Hertz @Budget @Avis @Alamo why is it the norm to charge customers an additional full day (24 hrs) if you return a car 1 hour late? It is pure greed? From a brand experience surely it makes more sense to charge an hourly rate?
