Delta, United, American all copied the model.. launched their own basic economy fares.. and Spirit couldn't compete with companies ten times its size doing its own trick.. the DOJ said the merger would hurt consumers.. the Iran war sent jet fuel through the roof.. and the government that blocked the rescue watched it die.. they protected you from a monopoly.. and delivered you a funeral instead
