@LuluGNavarro Generally speaking filming in public no matter how annoying is legal, there are local exemptions to that (such as or terrorist purposes) but there's no expectation of privacy in public.

Real question: do I have any rights to not be filmed by people wearing augmented glasses? Is there any way to tell them non-confrontationally to not film me or my child? The law in many places means you can’t record a conversation without the other person knowing.

I was telling the young guy who came to check my boiler today how dodgy it is as a lone female letting work men into their living space. He told me he’s pretty scared going into strangers’ homes too and has been caught up in some dodgy situations including ones where the lone females come on to him. He said some of the people he’s had to deal with are quite nasty and often have serious mental health issues. He said he’s feared for his life a few times and had to leave the premises as fast as he could. I’d never really thought about it from that angle.
