Joe, I completely sympathize with those who are confused. In fact, there is definitely some blurring of the lines and grey areas. Let me see if this helps. 1. AAWSAP was the original contract vehicle that was approved and executed in 2008, although discussions occurred before that from my understanding. This included BAAS as the primary contractor. Focus included UAP and anomalies at Skin Walker Ranch 2. AATIP was created to focus solely on military encounters with UAP. The 2009 memo demonstrates this. Keep in mind that justifying the spending of military resources (people, travel, time, etc) requires a military focus. This means showing a clear connection to military equities. The perfect example is the Nimitz incident and investigation that Jay conducted. I was part of AATIP already but focusing on the security element. 3. From 2009 to 2012 both AATIP and AAWSAP were run simultaneously. Meaning, AAWSAP was focusing on the ranch and some archival UAP cases (for which I was not part of so I can’t really speak to any degree of authority involving AAWSAP. As for me, at AATIP we were focused on military encounters with UAP which there were many. 4. In 2012, funding for AAWSAP ended and from my understanding those efforts ended (I could be wrong here because I wasnt really involved with that effort. With the finding done for AAWSAP, AATIP continued. In 2013 and 2014, we had another 10 million that was provided to us (AATIP) through appropriations but the language was vague and so the money didn’t come to us and instead taken by another element in USD(I), much to our disappointment. Fortunately I managed activities that allowed me to use our own resources to keep the program alive. By this point, we had plenty of military incidents to review and triage. 5. AATIP continued throughout 2014, 2015, and 2016 but it became clear to me, Jay, and others we would need more resources and more top cover. We also wanted the Air Force to authorize material transfer from specific aerospace contractors to AATIP. Those elements said we needed a new memo from SecAF to replace an existing one that directed these contractors to maintain the material. We were unsuccessful getting that memo from SecAf. 6. When Gen Mattis became SecDef I saw it as an opportunity to see if we could get a memo from the SecDef, thereby trumping (forgive the pun) the SecAf. To do this, we would need to brief his staff. Please keep in mind that all the while AATIP had been placed into DoD control systems but very few people in the new chain of command were even aware of it. So this was the perfect opportunity to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I.e. get top cover at the highest level while also getting a memo signed by SecDef to allow certain contractors to hand over the material they said they already had. Chris Mellon knew folks in the SecDef front office and introduced us. I already had served with Mattis overseas but I didn’t know anyone in his front office so Chris’ help was invaluable. 7. Jay and I along with our colleagues kept running into roadblocks with initiatives such as Interloper. As such, in 2017 we decided one of us would have to break cover in order to get the Secretary’s attention to this important matter. We decided it would be me that would go public while Jay remained in the shadows to continue AATIP from inside. 8. I believe it was in 2018 Jay becomes the new UAP Task Force Director. Unfortunately he faced sharp resistance from my old leadership but that is his story to tell because I was gone by then.

The problem, Lue, is that AAWSAP also had the nickname AATIP. I believe they did that to prevent certain anti-UFO folks from finding out about AAWSAP. Unfortunately, and apparently, it didn't work. And then we have @jaystratton saying he created AATIP in 2015, a few years after AAWSAP ended. Then we have KONA BLUE, which I think Lacatski will address more in depth with his next book. So, people would love a crystal clear timeline of everything and everyone involved. Because it's confusing.
Lue Elizondo@LueElizondo

For anyone who is wondering about AATIPs authenticity, here is documentation dated 2009 that clearly concerns AATIP and my participation early on. This memo was made by the program sponsor himself, senator Harry Reid. I’m not sure why there’s still a question about this?

Fact! And the DOJ/FBI (@TheJusticeDept /@FBI) was being sidestepped on obtaining the footage for review, so George Knapp (@G_Knapp) and I gave the DOJ context and contact info at the facility, and immediately after that moment (like, IMMEDIATLY after that meeting) - the footage was “confiscated/sequestered” off the Honeywell data system. Sequestered by who, do you think? That would be the Department of Energy (@ENERGY). That is a DOCUMENTED FACT. So I have officially encouraged Congress that they DEMAND that footage of the PYRAMID UAP from DoE. @RepEricBurlison + @RepLuna + @RepTimBurchett + @RepAndreCarson + @RepOgles (go get em!)

Greenstreet has built this narrative in his head but that’s the only place it exists. Roswell is a thing because a flying disk was the first thing reported. Before the military stepped in to shape the narrative. That and the many witnesses who came forward at the time and since.

The biggest UFO story in history came from a paperback book written in 1980. New York Post investigative journalist Steven Greenstreet (@MiddleOfMayhem) traced the entire Roswell mythology back to two dubious authors who reframed a crashed spy balloon as a flying saucer with alien bodies. Nobody cared about Roswell before that book. Same story, zero evidence, all the way to 2026. 👇

Richard Dolan Intelligent Disclosure
❓I have often said that UFO disclosure is a paradox because it is both impossible and inevitable. The implications of releasing this foundational secret are truly revolutionary, and the aftermath is incredibly difficult to predict. If full disclosure were to happen tomorrow, what do you think would be the most immediate global impact? A) Release of breakthrough energy technologies B) Massive political and social upheaval C) The expansion of a global surveillance state D) A profound shift in religious and philosophical beliefs 👇Let me know your choice in the comments and tell me why.

@UAP_tech @TheUfoJoe @TheDylanBorland @The_Astral_ To prosecute someone in this space would mean acknowledgement which is something the government has been unwilling to do, that's not a simplistic realization. Putting this in the same category as other military and intelligence secrets is simplistic and a poor comparison.

First off, full disclosure: I consider @TheDylanBorland a close friend, which makes me biased towards him. But I will always speak my mind, and he can confirm that. 🙂 He and I don't agree on everything, and that includes hockey talk. 🏒 Second: Astral has turned into a complete and utter jackass. Unless your brain has stopped working, it's clear Dylan is telling you that he DID say this to the ICIG, but will only confirm it if Congress and/or the Executive Branch grant amnesty to whistleblowers. No reason to risk prison time. And no, he couldn't say it in an open hearing to Congress without having to face possible repercussions. What part of that do you not understand? Get your head out of your ass and stop trying to be controversial or prove that you're a healthy skeptic, just to get noticed. It's a bad look. This isn't a game and this isn't a UFO-conference gimmick. Congress knows what they need to do. And to be crystal clear: Dylan is one of my favorite people on this planet and he deserves better. I wish I could help him get back to a normal life where he doesn't have to look over his shoulder 24/7. And that goes for @SunOfAbramelin, @Traveler03Truth, David Grusch, and every other whistleblower. They deserve our unwavering support. And I really hope we can get to the bottom of what happened to Dylan at the VA, which looks to me like some MKUltra-type bullshit. Watch his multi-part interview on "Weaponized."
Astral🛸@The_Astral_

So let me get this straight… Dylan Borland allegedly knows the name of a hidden UFO program called “Rubik’s Cube,” but instead of revealing it to Congress under oath during his testimony, it gets teased at a UFO conference through Corbell so protections can maybe eventually be leveraged to tell Congress later? At some point the UFO topic has to move beyond breadcrumbs, conference reveals, and media teases and into actual oversight, evidence, and documented investigation.

Those add up perfectly. Leaking material to Corbell IS manipulation of the topic and Borland would have been misled into thinking his testimony to them was protected. Corbell putting it all into the open is the only rational thing to do if trying to smoke out who can and can’t be trusted. Why try to paint it otherwise?

Holy crap this is the worst public relations I have ever seen. This will go down in history as an example of what NOT to do. This was one of the worst days in recent history for the credibility of the CIA and this is how you respond?! It is clear that the CIA needs more oversight. If anything we need to remind bureaucrats like you that the government belongs to the people, it does not belong to you.

The past months have been deeply exhausting on a human level. I have watched "colleagues" selectively use poor data with the goal to discredit our work, while simultaneously misrepresenting both the facts and our research. At the same time, some of these same individuals have been carrying out a long series of damaging and manipulative actions behind closed doors that go far beyond ordinary scientific criticism. I have read Reddit threads discussing me in ways no person should have to read about themselves, including comments implying I could become the next “dead scientist.” Probably well meant, but still, not fun to read. I’ve received social media comments implying I should be happy to be alive. Yesterday, I discovered fake nude pages using my name and identity. And some of our skeptical “friends” have recently accessed my team’s unpublished datasets through unethical methods and circulated their own “reports” despite having been clearly informed that they do not have permission to use or share our data. I'm not going to be silent anymore about this.

For future reference to those making cartoons about my science: please don’t put me in lab coats or masculine clothing. I don’t care what people think women scientists are “supposed” to wear. I am who I am, and I dress the way I dress -- it changes with my mood, the day, and yes, I love my high heels. First, I am a woman. And yes, when people deliberately try to portray my looks in an unflattering way, it does hurt me. Second, I am also a scientist. Trying to erase someone’s identity for the sake of an artificial storyline also erases something very real: science is done by human beings, not detached machines.
