In Tawergha, farming relies on electric groundwater pumps, & without power, crops remain idle. Earlier this year, @UNDP & GECOL reconnected farms to the grid, replacing transformers & installing new lines as part of the Municipality’s Local Development Plan, with support from 🇮🇹

Earlier this week, Libya’s General Information Authority announced the framework for the 7th National Human Development Report on digitalisation, with @UNDP support. The report will inform national policy with data across health, education, the economy and governance.

Strong disaster preparedness starts with coordination Today, the National Center for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management & @UNDP signed an agreement to strengthen national disaster risk management systems.
