@UPPolNRI 1 of 5. I want to bring it your attention that a cybercrime has happened with my parents living in Lucknow. He bought a sheet from e-marketing site Naaptol. A fraud of more than one lakh rupees have been made. Lucknow police’ initial response is not encouraging.

@UPPolNRI Respected Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ashif Khan and I am an NRI currently residing in New York. Both my brother and sister are also settled in the United States. Our elderly parents live alone in Prayagraj, and while we frequently visit India and remain connected to our roots, we are deeply concerned for their safety and well-being. Recently, a serious issue has come to our attention. A former worker, whom our father had generously allowed to stay in one part of the house out of goodwill, is now attempting to illegally take over the property. He has reportedly been threatening our father and mother, causing them extreme distress and fear for their safety. We have always believed in the progress and security that Uttar Pradesh has been striving for, and as NRIs, we have consistently supported and invested in India with that trust. However, this situation has left us feeling helpless and alarmed. Our only request is to ensure the safety of our parents and to protect them and their property from this unlawful encroachment and intimidation. We respectfully urge you to kindly look into this matter and provide the necessary protection and support to our family in Prayagraj. Your timely intervention will not only bring peace to our family but will also reinforce our faith in the rule of law and justice in our home state.
