No. At the end of the day, a company is making money, and has assets, regardless of whether people want to buy their stocks or not. I get that you believe in crypto, but you’re being disingenuous with yourself if you’re gonna try to pretend that owning stocks in a company and crypto are the same thing.

If members of Congress are caught insider trading, it’s a small, couple-hundred-dollar fine. If you’re caught doing it in the military, like in MSgt Dykes’s case, you could be facing up to 50 years in prison.
Anyone who cannot see that members of Congress are insider trading is either low IQ or willfully ignorant. Let’s take Nancy Pelosi, for example, it is statistically not possible for her to make a 17,000% return and outperform Warren Buffett without insider information. 🤡

Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day.
I don’t agree with what he did and he should be required to disgorge all the profits however, unless the DOJ plans on doing Congress next, this is not justice.
