Today, I joined my fellow PCEA adherents at St. Andrews Church and in particular the Woman’s Guild for the launch of “The Kenya Cookery Book and Household Guide”, a seminal publication on Kenyan culinary offerings and a must read.
My eye caught an interesting chapter titled “Foods Required for Different Ages.” This approach is particularly crucial since it’s important to obey dietary dictates of the different phases of human life if one is to enjoy the dividend of good health. Many kudos to the authors of this timely book!

The freshly launched book titled “The Kenya Cookery Book and Household Guide” is a call to each one of us to take a keener look at our dietary routines.
Besides, the book is an eye~opener for anyone keen on entering the field of gastronomic tourism given that Kenya has hardly exploited prospects of tourism in the food arena.
The conversation on culinary tourism, should unlock the promise for further economic empowerment of Kenyans in all corners of the country if properly harnessed.
I’m excited that this resource is a product of a congregation known to me for a couple of years. Well done!

@bonifacemwangi @KenyaPower @KenyaPower_Care @paulakahumbu @gathara @wmnjoya @SakajaJohnson @KeForestService @JerotichSeii @SemaUkweliKenya @TheBrooder @Environment_Ke Who plants the trees in the first place in these areas near the power lines? There should be dialogues between them which areas to plant and which ones not to plant. That way resources aren't lost in the planting exercises and saves the KPL resources on the cutting exercises.

.@KenyaPower employees have been ordered to cut down all trees everywhere within 5 metres of power cables. It’s wanton and unnecessary destruction directly against Ruto’s tree-planting policy. They must trim trees for safety reasons but they are felling entire trees in Nairobi.
