This is part of the misleading information that breed the misconception of modern day United fans. Part of the reason majority are against United ex players and even harbour secret resentment of Ferguson era, reesutking in expressed suspicion on social media. Majority are foreigner who only got exposed to the premier league in late 2000s But ex Fergie assistance had clarified it in his interview, delving into the details that guide the gaffer tactical philosophy. And because Ferguson was delegating duty in his later years, Rene Meulesteen was in charge of implementing those idea. According to Meulestenn, Ferguson expressed his view chats and tasked on how to implement them. He said about the attack, when we attack, we do so with pace, power, penetration and unpredictability.. In fact, I saw United in the late 90s and understood what Rene Meulesteen was saying. Evra words, if he ever said this, explain the Manchester United he joined . Ferguson was older and would delegate duty a lot in his later years. United of the 90s and early 2000s was more possession based . Not the kind of possession Wenger introduced in mid 2000s or the one Guardiola inspired but United was possessive and even ahead of Wenger Arsenal at that time. Go and read about Ferguson, he started studyings coaching book in his 20s. His dominance of football wasn't a fluke @rioferdy5 @GNev2 @AliceTalksFooty .

🚨🇫🇷🗣 Patrice Evra reveals the difference between Sir Alex Ferguson and modern managers: “During nine years, Ferguson never told me anything tactical like ‘go left’, ‘close the right’, or things like that. José Mourinho will probably talk more about tactics than Ferguson, but I don’t understand how Ferguson was so successful with that style of management. He knew how to bring the best out of people. We played with fear. I was never scared of Sir Alex Ferguson, but I was always scared of disappointing him. When Arsène Wenger was losing at half-time, he would say: ‘Come on my friend, we can do better than that.’ Ferguson was different. He was like: ‘Stop playing with my money, man. You don’t want me to end your contract, do you?’ I always tell people, if Ferguson was coaching today, he would probably end up in jail.” 😅

I have no doubt the impact Youri Tielemans can have on Manchester United. He is an experience players who could add a lot of depth to the midfield. My only grouse however is the fundamental problem INEOS has resolved to addresses and how this seem an obvious departure from their policy. United transfer activities has been characterized by speculation in the most unprecedented fashion but despite the arrays of top young talent linked to the club, we are seeing witnessing deals that raised some doubt and debate. The two players signed so far are a mix of talent and experience. Its left to be seen if it justify walking away from the much south after ones everyone expected earlier. All I can say for now is congratulatio to the new addition. #MUFC

Most of you have a clash with United history cos of the era you came into the game. You all are newbie who started seeing United in late 2000 at most. . This is one of those myths that people spread on the internet and others just believe like its fact. Its Not. Rene Meulensteen has given interviews before where he spoke about how SAF operates. He clearly states his style and system to his coaches, who's jobs are to train the players to play how Ferguson wants them to play - with pace, power, penetration and unpredictability. However, for match days, its still Ferguson who decides what tactic to use, and an example is when he decided to surprise Arsenal by playing 7 defenders while still playing attacking football. Thats not some coach's decision.

I've said many times that the reason why the likes of Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Scholes etc were never good managers is because Sir Alex wasnt a manager like Pep, Mourinho or all these other "tactico" managers. Not because he didnt have tactics but because he didnt feel the need to give the players more information than they needed. He only showed the full picture to his coaches and they went on to train the players in their specific areas. As any good manager does, he understood that not all players can handle dealing with so much information and he removed that burden which allowed his players to focus on just being a part of a whole well oiled machine.

🚨🚨🎙️| Amad: "I remember my first day, I was parking, and then I saw Juan Mata. He was doing the test of COVID in that time. So I was like, 'oh, this is Juan Mata...' "I was like, 'I can't believe it!' But yeah, once I went to the dressing room and I saw players like Paul Pogba, big players, Eric Bailly, I was like, 'I can't believe it'. "I'm playing for Manchester United now, so I have to give everything. I have to do my best for the club because now I play for a big club."
