Microsoft and gaming simply do not mix. Purchased Minecraft Legends on my Steamdeck. It requires a Microsoft account play (??). Fine. After some days it kicked me out, and now every time I try to log in, Microsoft gives me an error. So I cannot play the game I paid for. WTH

@RabidRabbit_OG @LibertyCappy True, but you can brush up the CV and get out there to the next challenge, leave the terrible with the terrible to sink together. The key is not let a bad employer drain your soul, that can be hard at times though.

@cs2maxi @vxdb Not sure as I've never used the others but KP has a pretty good import wizard so i'd start with a look at that and see what formats the online exports to that KP imports would be my starting point, just save it's database file in your google/onedrive/dropbox/whatever.

@binghach @MensHumor For a decent sized repair company keeping a small number in stock is reasonable, especially compared to the labour and travel cost of repeat onsite visits. Once you get behind the badge on the front there is a lot of component reuse.

@UpsonPhill @MensHumor You do realise often parts aren't just on a shelf somewhere nearby. They need to be ordered in. Often unreturnable when ordered if incorrect. Sadly most customers aren't exactly clear when diagnosing faults over the phone either, so a site visit is required.

@UK_Daniel_Card Thanks to the Internet I'd imagine almost everyone knows someone in another country who could spin up a cheap VPS for them, do a bank transfer to cover the cost and then yeah just socks proxy over ssh, just stick an html page on the VPS with "I Love Labour" and job done.

this is technically impossible for someone to enforce this...... I could stand up VPNs and proxies 247..... we can do that off box... on box.... multi-hop tunnels... we could do it via a ton a protocols... it would be practically impossible for anyone to know.....

Watch me freak out over a cloud (it's pretty cool) on live television!!! These are called Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds, which literally look like an ocean wave trapped in the atmosphere. They are relatively rare and short-lived...so sorry, not sorry for the nerd out on air!! @KPIXtv
