לא שאני חלילה לא מברך על הבשורה העצומה הזאת. אבל משהו אחד די תמוה בעיניי, למה אנבידיה צריכה 2 סייטים עצומים במרחק של כ20 דקות נסיעה אחד מהשני ועוד בצפון הארץ. לא ראיתי לזה התייחסות בכתבה, אבל אני מניח שאחרי שהקמפוס בטבעון יאוכלס, עובדי אנבידיה יקנעם (לשעבר מלאנקוס) יעברו לקריית טבעון והסייט ביקנעם ייסגר. ככה שזה לא 10 אלף עובדים בקריית טבעון ועוד כ3000 ביקנעם. אלא 10 אלף טוטאל. שזה כמובן עצום ובשורה סופר חיובית לישראל.

lets talk about "In context learning". it is clearly NOT "learning", because its ephemeral. It IS some form of generalization from examples, which is very cool. but we need a name. how do we call this skill of generalization from example?

@yanaiela Been using VSCode Copilot (Claude/Kimi K2) + Overleaf (requires premium). With MCPs you can even do stuff like “find the paper by X that fits here and add the ref”. Might write a post about how to set it up, feels like most people haven’t seen this trick yet.

@mosh_levy I tried a version of this, but VSCode isn't the right UI for text editing imo. It's very hard to see diffs, to do targeted edits, and other similar editing for academic writing.

I was born and raised in Iran in a society where religion wasn't a matter of personal belief, but a tool of control. For more than two decades, I lived under a system where Islam defined how we could think, love, dress, and even dream. Now I live in Europe in a free, democratic country and I often see people around me expressing solidarity with movements in the Middle East. Some of them are part of the LGBTQ+ community, some stand for human rights and freedom... understand where that emotion comes from. Compassion for suffering people is deeply human. But what I find psychologically fascinating and troubling is how easily empathy can be manipulated by ideology. When you haven't lived inside an Islamic regime, it's hard to imagine how deeply such systems repress individuality, silence women, and punish diversity especially queer identities. I understand the desire to stand with the oppressed. But please, before you raise a flag or a slogan, try to understand what that ideology truly stands for especially for women, for minorities, for the queer community. As someone who grew up inside the machinery of political Islam, I claim my right to say no to it fully, consciously, and without guilt. It is not hatred; it is awareness. It is self-protection. when empathy is blind, it can easily serve the very forces that destroy freedom both in the Middle East and everywhere else. #IStandWithIsrael #israel
