Had to happen … they want to abolish Sterling. Of course they do. Adding Britain’s economy to the Euro and the City of London, would boost global trading in euros. Making it more competitive with the US$. Labour will say it will give more stability, less currency volatility, lower costs for businesses, and easier trade with Europe. Watch this space …

Per Reuters: ECB warned that euro stablecoins would weaken bank lending and break interest rate control. ECB's own model: every 10% increase in stablecoin market cap reduces bank lending by 0.2%. Europe is fighting a war it already lost.
