The foreign diplomatic corps honored the memory of the victims of this horrific bombardment. Standing together on the ground, we saw firsthand how the enemy responds to the peace efforts of Ukraine and our allies. Following a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, we have clear instructions to secure additional military aid, air defense packages, and missiles. Moscow must know it will face a tough response to its terror. Clear signals must be sent to Moscow that we stand united, that Ukraine will receive robust military support, and that our path to EU membership is irreversible. We must intensify global pressure on Russia to show that these brutal attacks will never go unanswered. Together with foreign diplomats, we also expressed our deepest gratitude to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service and all heroic first responders saving lives on the ground. We are profoundly thankful to our partners for their defense assistance and solidarity in overcoming the consequences of these strikes. My sincere thanks goes to every diplomat who visited the sites today, and to all foreign missions continuing their vital work in Kyiv.
