As we await the gerrymandering argument before the Virginia Supreme Court, the U.S. Supreme Court just ruled for Texas in its own redistricting plan by striking down a lower court's ruling. Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented.
