@peoplespca It won't change anything for AB and SK. The PPC will need the same urban ON and QC voters to win an election. And those voters are happy with the status quo. We need independence for the West.

The VIC-20 was my first experience with simple coding - a skill that has served well in modifying linux scripts, programming control equipment, writing spreadsheet formulas, etc. I also have vivid memories of loading programs from a CoCo 3 tape drive

My first computer was a VIC 20. Got it when I was about 14 years old. It's my mother who purchased it, Dad thought it was a useless thing. I actually created a program to help Dad with some of his celestial navigation calculations.

@FreeAlbertaRob Mr. Anderson, Honest question: Would you be able to give a short explanation on how the results of this Oct referendum would have any more effect than the referendum on equalization a few years back… from which no tangible outcomes have been achieved?

Looks like a supermajority of support for the Premier’s proposals to right size immigration levels and have guest workers in our province pay for use of social programs. Let’s make this a huge mandate in October’s referendum Alberta. Could also help other provinces find the courage to do the same:)

Pictures from the independence referendum petition signing in Yuma today. Snowbirds coming out in droves. And yes folks, we are allowed to sign when out of the country. Must be an Albertan citizen with an accredited canvaser.

Mark Carney lives in New York. He's an Ottawa MP, which basically makes him a temporary foreign worker. Matt Jeneroux lives in Victoria, BC. He announced his resignation back in November, and hasn't worked a day as an MP since then. They both flew to Edmonton, as a theatrical show of unity towards Albertan. They did a press conference with a handful of photographers and then both returned to their respective homes. Neither of them care about Alberta or Albertans.

Canada is insanely stacked - perhaps the best team ever assembled. If the US manages to somehow beat them it will be the greatest hockey upset against a Communist power since the Miracle on Ice.

I had a brief go with Jason Kenney on X last night. The man is classless. The utter sleaze-baggery of a former premier of Alberta repeatedly coming on to a public platform to insult those he used to represent, is really something to behold, and is all one needs to know about him. It also says a lot about what's rotten Canada. Kenny represents everything that is wrong with this country. He's an insensitive snob who protects what might be the most corrupt country in the western world, while disparaging those who want change, and refuse to go down with the sinking ship his ilk created. The corruption, unfairness, and societal decay never touch him, so he defends the swamp that feeds him, while his arrogance blinds him to the fact that he is unwittingly becoming the poster child for separation. He now embodies the distant, condescending Ottawa politician that Albertans despise. He never represented Albertans, and the only reason he became Premier was that Rachel Notley was so bad we would have literally voted for a hamster to get her out of office. So congratulations, Mr Kenny, your legacy is complete. #AlbertaIndependence

@stayfreealberta Our local Calgary Elbow group has been in Sage Hill, River Park, +15s, Stephen Ave, Marda Loop, construction sites, local businesses, private events, house parties, and driving to homes for people who can't stand in line. And we're just one small group. Let's win this.

Alberta Secession - Why?

When AB joined 🇨🇦 in 1905, 1 in 4 Albertans were American-born. We have self-reliance and a work ethic baked into our DNA, and far more in common with Montana, Idaho, and Colorado than with B.C.—and most certainly Ottawa. 88% of our exports go south. The U.S. is our largest customer, greatest ally, neighbour, and friend—often family. Of course we will keep them apprised.
