@salltweets How dare women not move aside, surrender and roll out the red carpet, when these men swanned their way in into the spaces women fought hard for! A polite no, sure as hell made had no effect! Sarcasm and a bit of vitriol certainly gained the attention to the whole absurdity!

We are called "the elderly." But that quiet label hides something most people rarely stop to consider. We are the last living witnesses of a world that no longer exists. Look at us and you might see gray hair, slower steps, and the patience that time teaches. But listen to our story — really listen — and you'll realize something extraordinary. We are the only generation in human history to have lived a fully analog childhood and a fully digital adulthood. That's not a small thing. That's one of the most breathtaking journeys a human being has ever been asked to make. We were born in the 1940s, 50s, and early 60s, into a world still rebuilding from the rubble of World War II. Our toys were marbles and hopscotch and card games at kitchen tables. When the streetlights flickered on, that was it — childhood adventures were over, and it was time to go home. No smartphones. No streaming. No endless scroll. We built our memories in the real world. With scraped knees and laughter echoing down streets and friendships formed face to face. In 1969, we sat in living rooms staring at black-and-white televisions as Neil Armstrong took humanity's first steps on the Moon. Hundreds of thousands of us stood in muddy fields at Woodstock believing — really believing — that music and community could reshape the future. We fell in love to vinyl records spinning on turntables. We waited days, sometimes weeks, for handwritten letters to arrive. We learned patience because information didn't come instantly. Mistakes were fixed with erasers — not a delete button. Then the world transformed. Machines that once filled entire rooms shrank to devices lighter than a paperback. We went from rotary phones and party lines to seeing the face of someone we love on the other side of the ocean — instantly, on something that fits in a pocket. We watched the birth of the personal computer. The arrival of the internet. The smartphone. Artificial intelligence. And through every single shift — we adapted. Not because it was easy. Because that's what our generation does. We also carry the weight of history in our bodies. We grew up afraid of polio and tuberculosis. We watched science defeat them. We witnessed the discovery of the structure of DNA, the decoding of the human genome, the transformation of medicine itself. We survived pandemics across decades — and kept going. Few generations have been asked to absorb so much change in a single lifetime. And through all of it, certain things never changed. We still know the joy of a cold glass of lemonade on a hot afternoon. The taste of vegetables picked straight from a garden. The value of a long conversation that unfolds slowly, without a screen interrupting it. We have celebrated births and mourned losses. Carried the stories of friends who are gone. Watched the world become something our younger selves couldn't have imagined — and found ways to belong in it anyway. We are not relics. We are living bridges between two entirely different worlds. Our memory carries something the modern world needs — proof that progress doesn't have to erase wisdom. That speed doesn't have to replace patience, kindness, or reflection. So when someone calls us elderly, we can smile. Because behind that word is something remarkable. We crossed two centuries. Witnessed eight decades of transformation. Walked from handwritten letters to artificial intelligence — and never lost our sense of what actually matters.

The biggest bombshell is our incompetent Albo’s lack of leverage in todays polical climate! This situation was not unforeseen! Our only reserves are held by the very country he is exchanging words with! No onshore reserves, two refineries that’s supply 20 percent, 30 plus days fuel left, while paying through the nose! For a huge country whose economy relies on diesel and fuel, an obsolete failure of foresight!

Massive bombshell. Trump whines on camera that Australia refused to help with his Iran war, only for the Australian Prime Minister to reveal on live TV that Washington didn't even consult them before launching the attack. The US has gone completely rogue.

You seem convinced women are opting for an easier option. Women can only work with what nature gifted them in the way of bone structure, heart, lung size etc! But let’s not question the men who have the biological advantages , looking for an easier option in women’s sport. From her teens , through to old age , many woman in sport, will have monthly bleeding, spend years building her strength back from childbirth, breastfeeding, loss of estrogen, osteoporosis to be competitive again! Women training with men is often done in good spirit by men to develop women’s skills and strength, not the other way around!

@RuthlessTweets @WomenReadWomen Ruth: I am still open to persuasion. You have not presented an argument for why maintaining an 'easier' categoryin every sport - is the best way of supporting women in sport. It creates cheating & testing will only continue the same arguments about who qualifies.

Now that we know for a fact that all of the top athletes to place in Rio 2016 800M were men - now that we know that male athletes with DSDs were protected by sporting authorities - what should be done for the women who lost their dreams, and couldn't complain due to politics?
Genevieve Gluck@WomenReadWomen

At the 2016 Olympics, three men with DSDs took the top medals in the 800M Women's event. Lynsey Sharp, who placed sixth, explained in tears that it had been "difficult" to compete against Caster Semenya. The real winners: 🥇Melissa Bishop 🥈Joanna Jozwik 🥉Lynsey Sharp

TERFs are livid that a transwoman is the boss of an endometriosis charity (L). They cite 'misogyny'. OK, fine, but let's also get women out of men's charities. The boss of Prostate Cancer UK is Laura Kerby (R). She doesn't have a prostate. It should be a man. @AmandaPCraig 👍

While women’s lives are in the hands of male medical professionals everyday! We are generally treated with respect and a female nurse is present during intimate procedures! The greatest insult with his appointment to this role, he represents a culture, hellbent on destroying and erasing women’s and girls, privacy and safeguards in every aspect of our lives! Men, women and child are merely social constructs! Indefensible on every level!

It’s so funny when incels say, “Men built everything.” Of course they did. Women were burned at the stake for being smart, banned from schools, married off at eight years old, and treated as unwanted in society. For centuries, women were barred from participating in the very areas that shaped society, and even when they did contribute, their work was often erased or credited to men. So how do you expect them to have built a society they weren’t allowed to participate in?

JK Rowling is a hypocrite. I’m currently listening to the full cast Harry Potter series on audible. It’s endlessly woke and has a woke outburst every 10mins. Not just “mud blood” Elf rights Werewolf rights Centaur rights Giant rights Goblin rights Etc etc She indoctrinated Emma Watson from 9 years old, she is the character that had to say all this shit endlessly. She is an idiotic author and made a rod for her own back.

David said: ‘It is my understanding that people can get pregnant but that doesn’t necessarily mean only women, PEOPLE. I think she needs to open her mind and her tolerance’ he demented. what's your opinion👇👇

@Real___iTamara I have four kids, three boys! I suspected one of my sons was gay very early! I wanted him and all my kids to enjoy the innocence of a happy, carefree childhood! I knew the right time would come to have the talk and let him know it was ok to be gay!

I see Nicola Sturgeon is once again complaining that I posted a picture of myself wearing a T-shirt with her name on it and the legend 'Destroyer of Women's Rights.' Apparently this didn't 'elevate the debate.' Is there a clinical term for an individual who has extreme thinness of skin when it comes to their own perceived hurts, coupled with a rhino-hide when it comes to the fear and suffering of others? I'm thinking in particular of the two women Isla Bryson raped, who had to watch their First Minister squirm and smirk on TV as she tried to avoid admitting he was a man; of the five survivors of male violence who were ready to give evidence to Sturgeon's committee on gender self-ID, but were told to put their concerns in writing while seventeen trans-identified people appeared in person; of the mother of a young girl with a learning disability who campaigned against self-ID because she wanted her daughter to be guaranteed same sex intimate care, should she need it (the mother was presumably one of those female opponents Sturgeon calls 'shrill' and 'hysterical' in her memoir); of the ten-year-old girl sexually assaulted in a public bathroom by a 6'5" paedophile who served his jail sentence in a women's prison because he called himself 'Katie'; of Sandie Peggie, forced to discuss her own menstrual history in public to justify not wanting to undress in view of a 6ft straight cross-dresser in the nurses' changing room; of Marion Millar, dragged into court because she tweeted a picture of suffragette ribbons; of the Scottish rape crisis centres reliant on government funding who were pressured to admit trans-identified males into their services if they wanted funding to continue. When Sturgeon refers to an 'elevated debate', she means a discussion that takes place within a tiny, smug bubble from which regular women suffering real life consequences of her policies are firmly excluded. These faceless ants are loftily dismissed as bigots, or, to be more precise: 'transphobic, misogynistic, homophobic, maybe racist as well.' Nicola, you hated the T-shirt picture because you couldn't ignore it, as you'd ignored so many other women trying to make you understand their concerns. Appeals to your empathy, your intelligence and your compassion all failed. Apparently the only way to get through to you is through your vanity.

I witnessed a stabbing in Berlin city center today Police pulled me aside "Can you describe the attacker?" "Tall. Maybe 180cm. Black jacket." "What was his ethnicity?" "I'm sorry?" I asked, shocked at this racially motivated question "Was he white? Black? Arab?" "I don't see how that's relevant" I replied "You're right" the officer agreed, and closed his notebook "I hope you find whoever did this using non-discriminatory policing methods" I said Justice will come. But it must come without bias The quiet racism of law enforcement is never an answer
