@_techibee Mobile operators charge the banks for each sms. Who's gonna pay for it?

Did banks use to charge for SMS? 🤡 Seriously, I had no idea this was even a thing. Never noticed any deduction… probably because it’s so tiny that no one questions it. How many of you actually knew you were paying for every SMS alert? Did a rough calc 5 SMS/day = 18,000 SMS in 10 years… that’s ₹4,300 (incl. GST) just for alerts 💀

LPG shortage My wife & I decided to have/prepare one meal a day without using LPG. If every family did that, we can reduce Indian household consumption by 1/3rd. Instead of hoarding or panicking, do simple changes to your lifestyle for the national Good.

@AshwiniVaishnaw Why do we assume that touts are the reason we are not getting tickets? Have you considered there is serious lack of seating capacity?

@sureshpprabhu Also, IR must start building rail flyovers at all places where different lines cross. Such crossings are a significant source of delays currently.

Yes,you are right. Its absolute priority. We must also take forward work i had initiated to create elevated corridors on top of existing rail lines,to optimise land use,cut costs, efficient use of existing resources.while augment supply side solutions like these and more, also work on demand side management by introducing flexible office timings to reduce peak level traffic.

@bengawalk Its called a "foot"path! Not a "car"path, not a "bike"path, not a "hawk"path. Its a F'ing footpath! It has to be only for walking! Doesn't matter rich or poor, footpath is for walking! Its more needed for the poor so they can walk safely.

@josephradhik They f'ed up so bad that it takes 30 seconds to open paint in a PC with 64GB RAM and i9 processor! With windows 10 it used to be lightning fast! 1 year after a forced upgrade to W11, I am yet to find out what is the value add over W10!

Ridiculous. To witness a perfectly usable operating system nosedive in quality over the past 5 years, has been painful. W11 is pathetic in so many ways, the fact that you have to debloat, "winhance", and more, just to make the damn thing work. W11 is a mirror of everything that has gone wrong in the software side recently. And yes, I'm a daily power user.

BREAKING: Microsoft just announced several major changes to Windows 11 in an effort to win back user trust and evolve the platform into something people will actually want to use over macOS and Linux! It's a huge announcement that addresses Windows 11's biggest problems today, tackling core fundamental issues such as unreliable system performance, UX consistency, AI bloat and general enshittification. Microsoft has confirmed that this year, it WILL be reducing where ads and Copilot appear throughout the system, including in Start, Widgets, Notepad, Photos, and more! File Explorer and Windows Search will be upgraded with improved performance and capabilities that make finding apps and files much faster and easier. The OS will become lighter with less RAM and system utilization at idle, making it smoother to run on low end hardware with limited memory. These improvements will also benefit high-end PCs too. Windows Update will be improved with more granular controls and the ability to postpone updates for longer, along with reducing how often the OS needs to restart to install an update. Microsoft has also confirmed that it's bringing back fan favourite features such as the ability to move the Taskbar! It's also working to update more areas of the system shell with modern WinUI designs, which should make Windows 11 feel more coherent and complete. There's much more in the announcement, and it honestly all sounds too good to be true. Microsoft really is listening to feedback, and is eager to make Windows the BEST desktop OS on the market. More details including when these changes will arrive in the link! windowscentral.com/microsoft/wind…

Government services are getting from bad to worse! My wife applied for her driving license renewal via the online portal of Delhi government (sarathi.parivahan.gov.in) on 27th Jan 2026 with all required documents & applicable fees, vide Application No. 377470526. Scrutiny of documents was completed on 28th Jan 2026, and all documents were found ok. And that is it! Since almost 2 months now, the application is still in processing stage. It is just not moving while the license is about to expire now. I also raised a grievance in the tool but, as expected, there is no response to the grievance as well for more than a week. What are the options in front of us now? Should we let the license expire and apply for a new one? What happens to the online fees that we paid? Seems there is no physical window where we can check the status since this was an online application. Can someone help? @TransportDelhi @gupta_rekha @dtptraffic @parivahanvibhag @ParivahanSewa @VParivahan

@abhijitmajumder No, take even 10 Rs fine but ensure at least they are caught 50% of the time. Consistency in enforcement is what will make it work, not exorbitant fines.

$1,000. That’s ₹30,000 in PPP terms, give or take. Make that the fine in India and give every station a monthly quota. No, you don’t have to catch every single offender. No, you don’t have to worry about bribery. Just make this amount statutory. And see civic sense magically return to this country in a matter of months. Don’t worry about corrupt cops. Let them earn. When the amount is prohibitive, so is the bribe. No havaldar is letting you off with ₹500 when the fine is ₹30,000. Making India civic is the lowest hanging fruit for the government. Takes NOTHING more than political will. No “swachhata abhiyan.” No pointless cess. No mission. No PSA or drives that fall on deaf ears anyway. Just an unforgettable penalty.

@TopDriverIndia Horrendous traffic and non existent turning lanes near junctions and even when they exist, no one follows and no one enforces. Replace traffic with "justice" and answer is same. Life in India is great only as long as you don't step out of your house and don't deal with govt

Wife & I lived in US for 25 years and returned to India. As we are approaching retirement age some US friends are asking how life in India really is, as they are debating moving to India for retirement. So many positives here, but you know what the deal breaker for many is? The horrendous Traffic. Just think about it, NRI’s with $$ to contribute to Indian economy, but not coming back because of our chaotic traffic. There are so many hidden costs to our bad traffic. We need to fix it on a war footing. #RoadSafety @narendramodi

Nightmare Inside Ernakulam–Patna Express 😡💥 The inside of the Ernakulam–Patna Express looks like a disaster zone. Trash piles up everywhere, food packets and plastic bottles litter the floor, and washbasins overflow with stagnant, dirty water. This isn’t just a hygiene issue it’s an insult to passengers’ health and dignity. While India celebrates trains like Vande Bharat, long-distance travelers face this disgrace. Railways must enforce strict cleaning, and citizens must stop littering. @RailMinIndia
