It's true. The ledger medium has ALWAYS evolved in time. First, we bartered with beads, trinkets, & cattle. Then, we discovered precious metals & gold. Next, we moved to paper notes. Afterwards, paper currency transitioned to plastic. Now we are moving on-chain. It is inevitable.

Bitcoin is up 20% since the U.S.-Iran war began. The S&P 500 is up 9%. Gold is down 11%. This was not supposed to happen according to most institutional playbooks. So why is it happening?

Beat the benchmark. A recently declining Composite Ethereum Staking Rate (CESR) still remains rangebound between 2.8% and 3.15% over the past year as more assets are staked on the layer 1. Not the most compelling passive return relative to money markets unless you're structurally long the asset. So where's the edge? Certainly infrastructure if you're a larger treasury.
