@arynadesigns True. I tried vibe coding a saas and the design was so shit even after iterating. So then I used Variant (another ai tool what specialises in UI design) and fed those designs to claude And the results were so much better

One of the most underrated AI tools for UI designers right now. Type an idea. Scroll. Get unlimited layout variations instantly. I use it at the start of every project to explore directions before even opening Figma.

3 years into the modern AI era, and the best pairing is still a domain expert and an AI expert @bnj has taught me so much about design. Without his insight into what makes good design and what a good design process is, @variantui wouldn't be possible

"I was an ML engineer. And ML engineers think a certain way. They may not have been exposed to the things that matter in design. And that exposure really matters." - @variantui cofounder & CTO @bulhosa on the latest High Bit podcast. Variant generates beautiful UI and shows you multiple versions of your product at once, so you can explore instead of describe. Full episode ⬇️

@jonnym1ller Yes @variantui is the generative ui tool that feels the closest to midjourney for me. Being able to explore the creative option space and remix instantly is so freaking cooool

"A lot of the products built for coding follow a very linear path... they don't really lend themselves to discovery." But design is about discovery... @variantui cofounder & CTO @bulhosa joins @brettdg on High Bit to talk about how Variant generates code that produces beautiful design and shows you multiple versions of what your product could look like at once, so you can explore and find what's right instead of having to describe it upfront. @philsoutside @variantui If you're a bit more specific about styles, you'll get more reliable results Got some fun ones with: "retro (terminal, video game, swiss, other retro aesthetic) desktop dashboard design, keep it clean/surprisingly beautiful, high density”

Faxx.ai was fully designed and developed with AI tools. No it wasn't 1 prompt, more like 100+ in total when you take into account the functional backend / animation / design tweeks / API integreations / Revisions / Simulator / etc Don't believe anyone when they say "DeSIngERrs aRe coOkeD", designers simply became creative directors and devopers overnight. I used @Replit and @variantui for design/dev. I used Serpa, Exa, Open AI, Twilio and Resend for other functionality for this 1 featues product 😆 AMA

I’ve used em to create colorguesser.xyz . What i did is different compared to what others have said in the comments, 1. Droped a vague prompt that i need to build, variant ui give pretty results based on what the prompt is. 2. It gives you 6 generation at the start, pick one you like and go to edit mode to generate more variants of that. 3. Once you are happy ask it to generate 2-3 screens based on the user flow you need, like i need dashboard, login screen etc. 4. Copy them in a design.md file and give it to cursor or any coding agent to use that as reference for building ui for the app. 5. I went ahead and asked my agent to create re usable components with the design reference i have already. With that i can create custom components as well if needed. 6. When there is a need for a new component, AI agent pretty much understand what the ui style is and creates based on it. It really works for me with the workflow i have.

Better plant health. Designed in @variantui, built with @Lovable Pro tip - export the React code from Variant instead of the prompt, much more accurate.
