One day back at band camp in the middle of Baghdad, after eating with 107mm chinese rockets raining down, I went on patrol in the Al Rasheed district of Baghdad and found little kids and teenagers running around with realistic replica black rifles that shot airsoft pellets at about 300fps. The dozens of kids that were encountered were told to shoot the American soldiers, and if they did not, their families would be killed. Needless to say, we took those realistic looking airsoft toys away. It took a few days. The Farsi speaking individuals that gave the children the replicas and demented instructions, intended that American soldiers would kill a few kids in the confusion of it all, but that didn’t happen to the dismay of the terrorist Islamists. That’s how Islam rolls ladies and gentlemen. Hide behind the women and children after doing dirty deeds, and when the women and children fall, call their crumbled shield an atrocity to make the infidel feel bad. Give a nod to a buddy of mine, Robert Cecil Thornton, a good man from Alabama. He was killed by a rocket propelled grenade that was fired from behind an innocent family of four. Why? Like I said, because that’s how islamists roll, they use women and children as shields. Cecil gave his life for that family of four.
