@TheRoyal_TEA_ I would have thought having achieved everything she has and being so rich that money & recognition are no longer an issue, she would not need to do this. I can understand a desperate influencer doing it, but not a talented and successful woman. Or she may just like it 🤷‍♀️.

Dear Serena, This is not in any way flattering. This is not beauty. This is not classy. This isn’t even what most of us would call “fashion”. It’s gross. It’s embarrassing. And it’s trashy. People don’t want to see this. Keep it to yourself, please. Sincerely, The rest of us #serenawilliams #baddress #dobetter

Would you give up your window seat on a plane to a fellow passenger with a cat if asked, just so the cat could look out the window? For the cat's sake.

@Mangan150 @ABridgen @BradCLemley Wonder if the additives also play a role (as do genetics), as my great grandfather owned tobacco farms & was a very heavy chain smoker, but only ever rolled & smoked his own tobacco. He died from pneumonia aged 97, up to then having been in reasonable health.

The year is 1950. Your doctor lights a cigarette and tells you smoking is fine. He read it in a study. He is telling the truth about having read it. He does not know, or is not saying, that the study was funded by the tobacco industry. The year is 1958. Your doctor tells you to eat less fat. The evidence is contested. The contestation is not in the public messaging. The food industry has been helpful in clarifying which findings deserve attention. Some researchers who published contradictory data have been quietly defunded. Ancel Keys is on the cover of Time magazine. The year is 1962. Your doctor prescribes thalidomide to your pregnant wife for morning sickness. It has been approved. The FDA gave it the green light in Europe. Twelve thousand children will be born with severe limb malformations before anyone in an official capacity acknowledges the problem. The families are told the drug was safe. The drug was approved. Both of these things remain true. The year is 1972. Your doctor prescribes Valium. Britain is in the grip of a benzodiazepine wave that will last two decades. The dependency risk is known internally. It is not shared. Your doctor is not lying to you. He was not told either. The year is 1999. Your doctor prescribes Vioxx for your arthritis. It is newer than ibuprofen, well-tolerated, and Merck has a study showing it works. Merck also has internal data suggesting it roughly doubles the risk of heart attack. This data will not reach your doctor for four more years. Fifty thousand people are estimated to have died in the interim. Merck eventually settles for 4.85 billion dollars. No criminal charges are brought. The year is 2002. Your doctor prescribes OxyContin. Purdue Pharma trained its sales representatives to tell doctors the addiction risk was less than one percent. That figure came from a letter, not a study. The letter was about patients with terminal cancer on short-term doses in hospital settings. Your doctor is a GP with a patient who has a bad back. Nobody draws a distinction. Nobody is required to. The year is 2008. Your doctor checks your cholesterol. Your LDL is elevated. You are prescribed a statin. Nobody mentions that the number needed to treat for primary prevention is approximately 250. Nobody mentions that the muscle deterioration you'll notice over the next two years is listed as a rare side effect rather than a documented pattern affecting a meaningful percentage of patients. The trial that informed the prescription was funded by the manufacturer. Now it is today. Your doctor has new guidelines. New studies. New consensus. He is confident. He has always been confident. The confidence has never been the problem. The confidence is, in fact, precisely the problem. Source: COVID19 VACCINE VICTIMS AND FAMILIES

My dad called periods disgusting. My little brother shut him down in one sentence. My brother asked me what periods were like because one of his friends had just gotten hers and he didn’t want to make it awkward for her. So I explained it. Cramps, hormones, chocolate, the basics. From the other room, my dad yelled, “Stop talking about that disgusting shit. Men don’t need to know women’s business.” Before I could say anything, my little brother looked at him and said, “No wonder mom left you.” Silence. My dad turned around and walked out like he’d just been unplugged. Then my brother looked back at me and went, So… chocolate, right?

@Matt_Pinner Men produce genetic variation. Technically, using cloning techniques, women can produce babies without men, but sexual reproduction results in superior offspring and ability to adapt and survive.

Patient’s husband: But does she really need a mastectomy? I Iike her body the way it is. Me, the surgeon: Yes. Her cancer is 5 cm. That is too big to safely do a lumpectomy. If we leave cancer cells behind, the cancer will come back. Patient’s husband: That’s ok, we will take our chances Patient: The hell we will, I want the mastectomy I love seeing strong women make choices for their own bodies 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Do hares eat chives? I'd like to plant mine out. I don't mind if they do, just curious. Though it would be nice to have it for myself too.

Sasha is a beautiful male Maine Coon cross. He is available and sadly looking for a home as his owner has passed away. Sasha is 12 years old, he is chipped and neutered and would suit a home with no other animals as this is what he has been use to. He would be okay with older children such as teenagers. Sasha is also registered at the vets and likes treats. He is very furry and eats a mix of dry and wet food. Sasha is also litter trained. For information or to offer Sasha a home please email info@help2rehome.com Sorry we are unable to reply to messages to the page. If you can't offer a home at this time please consider sharing Sasha's appeal to help him on his way.

@JDHughes4 @TheGriftReport Interesting the ones who benefited from free university education introduce fees for others. The ones who sent servicemen to war won’t send their own children. The ones who receive generous benefits 4 life as ex PM’s talk about the unsustainability of pensions for others.

@TheGriftReport Blair is very keen to tax everybody except his own offshore investments. He introduced student fees when university education was free for all. He went to war in Iraq on a lie and 138 British servicemen died. Now he wants to kill off pensioners. A truly evil man.

Tony Blair has urged scrapping the ‘unaffordable’ pensions triple lock that protects millions of pensioners, his own think tank claims the system is outdated and too rigid for modern life with costs exploding by £85 billion a year by 2070, the former PM’s report demands it ends after the next election and be replaced by a new ‘lifespan fund’ that forces people to build their own entitlement through work, Blair’s director Tom Smith said Britain’s state pension was built for a different era and we can’t keep pouring money into a system that is increasingly unaffordable, pensioners facing rising bills are now told to accept less while the multi-millionaire ex-leader lectures them on restraint, Thoughts?

@Brackens1 You need to get your heart rate checked. Unless you’re extremely fit, it’s too low and you could have some heart block/conduction issues which need to be excluded or treated. ECG and possibly 24hr halter monitor is what you need done.

My medication is causing very low blood pressure. I didn’t get to see a GP. It was a Health Care Assistant who took one (normal) BP reading and pronounced me "fine". I have a pulse of 47-48 most mornings and feel awful. A HCA can do nothing but use a BP monitor. 🤷🏼‍♀️
