But, every farmer spoke to me about WATER! And the lack of it for their crops, animals & families... Struck by drought and occasionally by floods, there are no climate crisis skeptics in #Afghanistan. This is not just a humanitarian crisis... at-scale adaptation is required!

This is what #LeaveNoOneBehind really means to @FAO... The farmers at 'Sa-mart farm' in 🇹🇭 have physical disabilities. But, with #IoT sensors, software, mobile phones, they showed me with a touch of a button how they control digital irrigation systems and grow & sell vegetables.
