One of the excellent questions put to @wesstreeting by @genspect: “Childhood gender non-conformity is strongly associated with same-sex attraction in adulthood. How will the trial avoid unnecessarily medicalising children who would otherwise grow up to be healthy, same-sex attracted adults?” For a gay minister to allow this monstrous experiment to go ahead - a trial that will harm more children and cannot yield any information not already known - would be a terrible betrayal.

If your teenage daughter ended up with a broken arm, broken leg, 8 broken ribs, severe internal bleeding from a severed spleen and a split diaphragm from a crash caused by the appalling dangerous driving of 2 brothers ( 90mph in a 30) I suspect you would like to see jail sentences handed out. In that case keep away from the dim-witted judge Robert Pawson at Bournemouth Crown court who ludicrously gave them a suspended sentence. The brothers, Harrison Taylor , then 17, and Henry, then 19 were racing each other around Sandbanks peninsular in a new Mercedes A200 and BMW 135i , gifts from their dad after the parents’ separation. Inevitably at those speeds they crashed and the 17-year-old girl passenger had to be cut free from the wreckage, underwent complex surgery and was put in an induced coma for a week. None of this was enough to persuade Judge Pawson that the brothers, one an estate agent, the other a barber, should be jailed. Pawson had the good grace to say they would have received 10 years had she died. Very big of you. Anybody with knowledge of those roads in Sandbanks knows they can hardly cope with 30mph let alone a racing 90mph. A minimum of two years should have been the price. This sentence will encourage other mad boy racers to do the same. Then the blood will be on Pawson’s hands as well as the brothers.

BREAKING: Justice delayed for jailed schoolteacher Enoch Burke who refused to use “they” pronoun Judge gives Appeal Panel two weeks to prepare their excuses for a shambolic hearing in December that broke every rule in the book. Enoch Burke was dismissed from Wilson’s Hospital School after he refused to call a student by a new name and the “they” pronoun. He appealed his dismissal to the Disciplinary Appeal Panel (DAP). This three person panel contained a barrister, a teachers union vice president and a member of a school principals organisation. At the appeal hearing on the 13th of December, Enoch Burke was subjected to an Appeal Panel that blocked cross-examination of witnesses from the school, denied Enoch fair procedures and abruptly ended the hearing without closing submissions. After Enoch Burke raised serious concerns, the Appeal Panel (DAP) cobbled together an additional hearing for this Saturday the 10th of January 2026. However it is now clear the DAP appeal cannot proceed with the same panel members that denied Enoch Burke basic rights, one of whom is a former ASTI Vice-President who blatantly stated at the outset of the hearing “If I were instructed by my principal to call a child whatever, I have to implement that instruction, I don’t make the instruction”. Enoch Burke’s application for an injunction halting the Appeal Panel’s handling of his appeal was due to be heard by the High Court this morning at 11am. One minute before the proceedings were due to start, a solicitor for the Appeal Panel approached Enoch Burke and informed him that the so-called “re-convened” hearing on Saturday 10th January would be cancelled. The High Court granted the DAP time to file a replying affidavit. The matter is back in the High Court on Wednesday, 21st January 2026. It is a scandal that Enoch Burke has to fight to simply get a fair hearing of his appeal.

This person claims that the current US administration is eradicating trans people. His victimhood narrative and emotional appeal are misplaced. The Administration is re-establishing the correct meaning of “man” and “woman,” “male” and “female” in order to protect the rights of women and girls and to protect children from being taught that it’s possible to “change sex” or to be “born in the wrong body.” It is outlawing “gender affirming care” for minors because it is not care at all - but abuse. It is protecting girls’ sport because girls deserve to be treated with fairness, safety, and dignity in sport as elsewhere. Saying “there are only two sexes” is not saying that trans people don’t exist. Everyone exists. Saying there are only two sexes is explaining that people who refer to themselves as “trans” are either male or female, which is determined at conception and observed and recorded either in utero or at birth. I am no fan of Trump - quite the opposite - but I consider his Administration’s actions with regard to sex and gender issues to be extremely helpful to women and girls, to LGB people, and to society at large.
