@Hesamation Agreed. Resorting to working directly with opus to refactor CC code errors. Has cost me countless hours ripping out poor quality code. Had CC run a diff on project files…cost 175k tokens. Had to add directions for bash directly into the MD to mitigate token waste.

AMD Senior AI Director confirms Claude has been nerfed. She analyzed Claude's session logs from Janurary to March: > median thinking dropped from ~2,200 to ~600 chars > API requests went up 80x from Feb to Mar. less thinking and failed attempts meaning more retries, burning more tokens, and spending more on tokens > reads-per-edit dropped from 6.6x → 2.0x. model stops researching code before touching it. > model tried to bail out or ask "should i continue" 173 times in 17 days (0 times before March 8). > self-contradiction in reasoning ("oh wait, actually...") tripled. > conventions like CLAUDE.md get ignored because there's less thinking budget to cross-check edits > 5pm and 7pm PST are the worst hours, late night is significantly better. this means the thinking allocation is most likely GPU-load-sensitive.

@trq212 CC tends to stray from the initial design (even if the design in the MD says otherwise). Adds unrequested features, adhocs queues/State mechanisms, etc. relying on myself and Opus to sort through and rip out unwanted lines of code. Thought it was a context issue but maybe not

I want to do some streams where I work with non-technical people using Claude Code to figure out how they might be able to improve their process. My feeling is that just a few tips could make a big difference in efficiency. Any mutuals interested?

Sam Altman posted a family photo after someone threw a Molotov cocktail at his house at 3:45am (no one hurt). He reflects on the power of words amid AI anxiety, shares his core beliefs (AI for broad prosperity, must democratize it, safety + adaptability key), admits personal mistakes at OpenAI like being conflict-averse, and calls for de-escalating industry drama—AGI feels like a "ring of power" that drives crazy behavior, so share the tech widely under democratic control.

The #blockchain industry has long grappled with fragmentation, assets locked in silos, liquidity divided across chains, and institutions struggling to operate efficiently in a multi-chain world. In this article, our Head of Innovation, Dr Luke Riley, compares two solutions that have emerged to address this challenge: Circle’s Gateway and Quant’s Fusion Multi-Ledger Rollup. While both technologies tackle #interoperability, their approaches, capabilities, and ultimate visions diverge significantly. Quant Fusion's core innovation lies in its ability to generalise what Circle accomplishes for USDC to the entire #digitalasset ecosystem. Institutions can define their own 'unified portfolio' spanning #publicblockchains like Ethereum and Solana alongside private, #permissionednetworks. Whether dealing with #stablecoins, securities, native chain assets, or enterprise tokens, Fusion acts as a token-agnostic liquidity layer rather than an issuer-bound solution. $QNT I find it absolutely insane that quant will mini pump based on huge news of collaboration with enormous corporations and central/private banks… and then the price is suppressed. Retail volume is low…where is this sell pressure originating?

Today, the same stablecoin exists separately on 10 chains with liquidity fragmented across all of them. Fusion connects those chains into a single network, making an asset issued on one chain accessible across all of them - no wrapped versions, no bridge transfers, and liquidity that stays whole. The chains remain, but the fragmentation between them does not.

JPMorgan's $13T number is almost certainly built from known asset categories: bonds, treasuries, real estate, private credit, commodities. All of it has existing price discovery, legal definition, and institutional infrastructure — tokenization just adds rails. The invisible problem: there's an entire asset class generating $946B in annual market demand that isn't in that number at all, because it can't be tokenized yet. Human biosignal data doesn't have provenance standards, consent frameworks, or quality attestation at chain level. That's not a $13T conversation. That's what comes after it. Sat down with Bittensor co-founder Jacob Steeves (Const) for a deep dive into the state of Bittensor in 2026. We covered how Subnet 3 trained a 72B parameter model in a fully permissionless decentralized way, how subnets create markets for digital commodities like gradients and inference, the dynamic TAO tokenomics that lock emissions into subnet liquidity pools, and why open ownership of AI matters more than ever as centralized labs head toward trillion-dollar IPOs. 0:00 Intro: Bittensor Co-Founder Jacob Steeves 1:13 Jacob's Background, From Deep Learning to Crypto 4:45 Founding Bittensor: The Monetary Computer 7:58 How Subnets Work as Markets for Digital Commodities 11:18 Subnet 3: Decentralized Model Training 15:28 Permissionless Training at Internet Scale 18:52 Why This Matters: Open Source AI Ownership 25:53 Subnet Tour: Optimization, Inference, and Compute 29:55 Affine: Beating Qwen 30B via Market Incentives 34:26 TAO Tokenomics and Dynamic TAO 51:54 How Investors Participate: Just Buy TAO 54:05 Open Ownership vs Fiat AI

If you are buying $TAO for the first time this week, remember this: 1. Native staking yield is c. 15%. Don’t hold it with a CEX, create a self-custodied wallet and stake it to the network (no risks as long as your keys are safe) 2. Start learning about subnets. The yields there can exceed 50% but the subnets tokens are obviously a lot more volatile. A lot of compounding return will be made stacking subnet tokens on top $TAO’s own price appreciation, but you need to know what you are doing there. Some resources to get you started 👇

Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network. In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome. AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement. We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only. We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements. We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

Its so obvious the path this world is going down. So I spent another $10,000 My vision has never been clearer. Open source AI models are now equally if not more powerful than closed source ones We will soon all have private personalized super intelligent AI agents running locally on our desks 24/7 The people who don't do this in the future won't have as much economic power The people who do will have all the economic power in the world I'm going all in on this vision My 2nd Mac Studio has arrived. I have 2 more coming. I will have 4 Mac studios and a Mac mini running 5 concurrent OpenClaws with 7 different super powerful local models performing tasks 24/7/365 for me I will interface with them, and they will coordinate with each other. Talking, planning, building all hours of the day. No need for sleeping or eating. I will build a digital society humanity has never seen before I will push the limits of what is possible with AI agents and local intelligence. I will redefine what is possible for one person to achieve in a life time I will share everything I build and learn with you. It will be glorious. If you're reading this, the future is going to be incredible. But the thing is, it will only be incredible if you do something about it. Don't let society control you. Take control yourself. Break free from your shackles.

NEW: Colombian President Gustavo Petro says the "popular jaguar" will be unleashed if Trump attacks Colombia, threatens to "take up arms" himself if he has to. Petro says thousands of guerrillas would return if Trump took action against the country. "If you bomb peasants, thousands of guerrillas will return in the mountains," he said on X. "If you arrest the president whom a good part of my people want and respect, you will unleash the popular jaguar," he said, an apparent reference to the Colombian people. "Although I have not been a military man, I know about war and clandestinity." "I swore not to touch a weapon again since the 1989 Peace Pact, but for the Homeland, I will take up arms again that I do not want." Yesterday, President Trump was asked by a reporter if there would be an operation against Colombia. "Sounds good to me," he responded.
