"Voting" is a "God-given" right. Such ignorance belongs nowhere near an official office. Texas is going to chew this guy up and spit him out. Some polls might say he's better positioned than O'Rourke was a few years ago at this same point in the race, but O'Rourke was a relatively normal guy who happened to be a liberal Democrat. Talarico is a "construct" -- he's Cosplaying as "normal." That won't hold up under scrutiny. When all his radical past commentary begins to show up in GOP ads, the divergence between how he now presents himself and what he has said consistently over the past several years, will all expose the fraud he represents. Democrats cannot run as themselves. The all run as sanitized versions of themselves. When the stink is applied, a more accurate version of what they represent becomes obvious.

I think Letterman is the first to admit he stayed too long, and he did so for the benefit of the people who were employed to produce the show. That's why he continually cut back on the number of episodes -- he was running out of steam and the show was running out of steam because of him.

it is upsetting that a number of very good long-form writers on X are now relying on AI slop. The stories all sound the same, use the same format, vocab, and punctuation. The content is good but I'm considering blocking them out of principle.
