@LeeAnnM66008540 @GlobalOKRandi @yvrairport @WestJet Might be different since you’re in YVR but in YYC, it was a separate lineup from the check in counters. The baggage tags were printed by “self service assistance” desks that were near the self serve kiosks. I would ask someone working on the floor if they’re available.

1) This is the very long lineup at @yvrairport. All these folks are waiting to deal with @WestJet. I feel bad for the staff and even worse for the passengers. Some have been here since yesterday….

@Jodistweet @WestJet This was their response. It seems like systems are up & running but there may be further cancellations because of backlogged flights. Contact center guy said “can’t confirm for the what happens in the future but flight status is currently on time” 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️ twitter.com/westjet/status…

@WONasONE We successfully brought all systems back online, unfortunately the impact of the outage is still being felt across our operations. We are sincerely sorry for the disruption that is now resulting in additional cancelations and growing delays.

@WestJet I'm searching high and low to see if things are back up and running at YYC. My flight is rescheduled for this am. Says it's going but is there any way to actually confirm? The roads are terrible and if I just need to come home again I won't bother!

@nicdvctt @michelev3u @WestJet There was an earlier flight than the one I got rescheduled for but the contact center dude said it probably got filled up in the rescheduling process so that’s why I’m on the next one. Probably same thing for you? Or they’re just trying fk it up some more for you 🥲

@michelev3u @nicdvctt @WestJet Your flight was cancelled yesterday? If it was cancelled I’d assume they’d have to update your itinerary on their end. The contact center guy told me to just check the flight statuses on their website. Maybe check if your flight is still there

@WestJet How long are wait times to speak to someone at the call centre? Why can’t we make our own changes to itineraries since you guys aren’t answering? I’ve been on hold for over an hour? Can @westjet please let people know wait times? Computer glitch wipes out everything?

@vdubboi @WestJet got thru w/ the contact center after 6h of waiting.I assume they were offline until about an hour ago.I had already received a reschedule for early AM but wanted to see if I could change to later.They said the ticket is only for “next available flight” so no changes are possible

@WestJet I know flights to Regina are cancelled due to weather and I received a new itinerary to my email. It won’t work as I have surgery Monday morning and can’t fly out on Monday as suggested. I tried calling and got hung up on after waiting online for 2 hours. Pls contact me.

@WONasONE There’s people in the counter, but they’re announcing system reboots every 15 minutes. Pilot told us we would need to wait until 3:30am for counters to reopen and be rebooked; but I’m not really sure of anything. There’s really nobody from Westjet updating us

Well… After 12 hours of waiting and trying to get home to YYZ from LAX on @westjet, we have arrived in YYC. At least we are in Canada. I better be able to see the Rockies in the morning!!!!
