Snohomish County Public Works
Flood response continues this week as Snohomish County Road Maintenance addresses standing water on our local roadways. Crews are working to clear clogged drains and culverts while coordinating with the @SnoCoSheriff's Office to place road closure signs in impacted areas. Remember, road closure signs are placed for a reason. Don’t try to pass them or drive through standing water! Debris and other hazards may be hiding beneath the surface. If you do encounter standing water, turn around and share your report with 911 when it is safe to do so. Stay safe, warm, and dry this weekend!

US 2 Stevens Pass is now closed between milepost 55 and 85 because our plows are not able to clear the road due to illegally parked vehicles at the summit. If you have selfishly chosen to block our crews and first responders, come move your car off the highway. @wspd6pio

Yes, it’s snowing at SEA. Runways, taxiways, and ramp areas are clear. Airlines are responsible for de-icing aircraft. SEA provides additional cargo areas for airlines to de-ice. Check with your airline to see if your specific flight is affected.
