Nowhere in this article do they mention the Biden administration stopped a merger that might have saved the airline and that Democrats did a victory dance over it. This is the most pervasive media bias. It’s not the outright lies. It’s what they purposely omit.

Spirit Airlines, an impish upstart that shook the industry with its irreverent ads and deep discount fares, announced Saturday that it has gone out of business after 34 years. apnews.com/article/spirit…

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

Listen to how @SenSchumer talks about Black people, like we're his fucking pets. I dunno about you, but creating TWO majority-Black districts to entrench Democrat power in perpetuity seems a LOT like a 250mile-long plantation. These Democrat fuckers went ALL THE WAY BACK to their slaver roots, and have the GALL to call SOMETHING ELSE "Jim Crow." Go FUCK yourself, Chuck.

"A despicable decision that is a return to Jim Crow." No, what Democrats want is a return to 'Jim Snow.' They aim to disenfranchise white voters with racially discriminatory gerrymandering. No racial discrimination means no racial discrimination. Get it?

It’s incredible how quickly the left will adopt the tactics of third world dictators the moment they don’t get their way. None of their rhetoric about norms and democracy is real.
BeshearStan@BeshearStan

If Democrats actually want to fight back after the VRA ruling, they should split DC into 8 wards and admit them as states. +16 Senators to codify voting rights reform into the Constitution. No more half-measures.

The Supreme Court has been chipping away at our elections for years. It is clearly carrying out Donald Trump’s will with this decision. New York has always led the fight for voting rights and we’ll lead again. I’m working with the Legislature to change New York’s redistricting process so we can fight back against Washington’s attempts to rig our democracy.

The left's plan to rule by packing aliens and redistricting to a permanent majority is falling apart so now they're pushing to transition us to a partisan kritarchy. The Democrat party is the biggest threat to our Republic.
Mehdi Hasan@mehdirhasan

If the Democrats don't make rebalancing and expanding the Supreme Court a top priority for whenever (if?) they next get into power, then I don't know what to say anymore. The GOP-packed court is the biggest block on progress in this country and has been for a while.

This woman noticed something very interesting about The SPLC “These are supposedly the chief employees of the Southern Poverty Law Center — all of the supposed white supremacist organizations were being funded by…. an organization made of black people” There’s a reason: “Just to make it clear, an organization — run by blacks, are funding white supremacist organizations because there's not enough actual racism from white people, which threatens their ability to collect on welfare social programs, get funding from the government, make millions basically. So yeah, I hope this dispels white guilt because white guilt is pretty much what these people use to rob you blind of your taxes. If anyone is a slave in the big 2026, it is the white working man” According to her, any almost everyone in the comments agrees with her, it’s all another scam to keep the welfare payments justified and flowing Think about that, Democrats main voter base is people on welfare. It’s one big crime syndicate manufacturing fake outrage to steal our money for votes

A Harvard Business Review finding showed that mandatory race training in workplaces produced higher levels of racism in the end, similar to the white bear suppression effect. We were so close to a colorblind society… then all the crazies ruined it with performative politics.

Genuine racism was almost dead until the Left revived it with their aggressive identity politics and collectivist rhetoric.

When I saw this bill, my first thoughts were something like, 1) I'm becoming a mechanic and driving something pre-2027 for the rest of my life, 2) when they outlaw that, I'm taking up biking, and 3) when they start surveilling the bikes, I'm switching to running... Then it hit me: I'm in zugzwang. My only moves, if I'm to remain a law-abiding citizen, are to either 1) allow myself to be prison probed by the state 24/7/365, or 2) start living in self-imposed 15-minute city conditions. I have a sudden urge to throw wooden crates into a harbor.
Pubity@pubity

Every new car in the U.S. will be required by law to have tech that puts constant surveillance on the driver by 2027. AI in your car will determine if you're sober and fit to drive, automatically turning off the vehicle if it determines you're a danger on the road.

This blew up and attracted the horde of USA commies. For my final trick, I will make their brains explode from irony. What country do USA commies point to as the example of successful communism? China How much wealth do the top 10% have in China? 68% (same as USA) What does China score on the Gini metric for income inequality? 0.46 (same as USA) Surely there are no billionaires in communism…. Right? Wrong, China has 516 billionaires. See the truth about real communism is that it’s a terrible way to run an economy. China figured that out after tens of millions of their citizens starved to death. So now the “best example of communism” is actually a capitalist economy with a fascist authoritarian political structure. *bows and exits stage on left*
Kix@SpeculatorArt

If we forcibly seized the net worth of every billionaire in USA and redistributed it amongst US Citizens, each would get about $17,000. One time payment. So please tell me again how that's going to solve all your problems.

YouTube dashed his dreams with one wrong message. It was exceeding cruel. David Perez worked 3 tough years to get his YouTube channel, MovieTalkNOW to where it was. Just this week, YouTube's AI decided to demonetize him for "inauthentic content." He never had a single infraction, a single flag on his videos. All his content was original, hard, back-breaking work. Nothing "inauthentic." Now it was all up in smoke. You get one appeal so he took it. His fans rallied and then...YouTube sent him a message, HE WAS BACK! Monetization restored! Only that turned to tragedy moments later when YouTube sent another message, telling him that message was a mistake, that he was still demonetized. No sorry, no apology. In fact, they doubled down and blamed him again, telling him to enroll in a 90 day remedial class and then he could re-apply and maybe get his channel monetization back. This is cruel @YouTube and wrong. You've been on a string of automated demonetizations that are destroying hundreds of real creators. And you haven't done nearly enough to fix it. Now, my politics are about as 180 as you can get from David. I don't like or agree with his videos. But I will defend his right to a fair REAL review by a human against YouTube's insane AI rampage right now.

It turns out that there is huge financial incentive to false flag "far right" incidents and fundraise off them. SPLC made millions and millions off of funding rallies, hate leaders. With that much money on the table, the incentives to fake things are clear.
