Brett Veach and Andy Reid absolutely CLEANED HOUSE on defense and just replaced everyone with young drafted guys. That was the plan all along. The only player left to replace is Leo Chenal and I think they’re going to hand the keys to the kingdom to Jeffery Bassa.

Seeing a lot of speculation that the Chiefs will go EDGE at 40 today. Here's why I think that doesn't happen: With the trade up for Delane, and the Woods pick, the Chiefs have already spent 4 picks (6, 29, 74, 148) on defense. My guess is they go skill position. WR or TE.

@Farzin21 Exactly. Remember the 2022 draft. Great overall draft. But the chiefs held the 50th pick. Veach decided to make a trade with the patriots back to 54 to pick up a 5th. The patriots selected Tyquan Thornton. Pickens &Alec Pierce went next. The Chiefs got Skyy Moore and DKinnard.

If you’re not a fan of trading up to get Delane, fine. But if you’re going to say “we could have gotten him at 9” How do you know that? The only way you know that for certain is if you have the board for all 32 teams.

I hate that I'm about to tweet this, but we should take one of TJ Parker, Zion Young, or Gabe Jacas at 40 tomorrow. I know what that means for the offense, but they really need an edge rusher and I think all those guys can play immediately.

KC has their LT, LG, C, and RG locked in through 2027 barring injury. I read a mock draft by someone I really respect who said the Chiefs taking the 3rd OT (2 went top 8) would be "a huge first step toward stabilizing Kansas City’s offensive line." First step? I don't get it.
