If you have not read this book, do not tweet at me about pronouncements by Fauci, the CDC, NIH, the WHO, or any form of medical health office or officer. This man, and people with/like him, have gotten away with literal murder:

@GaganMann478837 @Brad604 I remember one from my youth. We lived up from Deer Lake in Burnaby and could see all the North Shore mountains. That display seemed to light up the entire North Shore, at least in my mind. Would have been mid to late 80’s? I remember thinking how unusual that storm was for us.

On this day 5 years ago. An awesome nocturnal Thunderstorm developed off Point Roberts, WA and drifted over Vancouver, BC. This one contained a lot of Lightning for developing entirely after Sunset. This one caused localized flooding from very heavy rainfall. What I remember most about this storm was the frequency of the Lightning. Not our usual Thunderstorm behavior. At one point, Lightning was striking every 10-20 seconds in the city. Which is something we aren't privvied to very often. This one definitely kept many of us awake. I chased it all through East Vancouver and caught some awesome Lightning flashes on my dashcam. This knocked out power and brought down a few tree branches on Broadway around Rupert. Again, not even remotely close to the same setup we saw a week ago. Very different Thunderstorm behavior between the two. Back in 2021, it was a single unusually high energetic Thunderstorm that did this. A week ago, I saw 5 seperate Thunderstorms in my area alone in 2.5 hours.

The last time an El Niño this strong hit, it killed 50 million people. That was 3 to 4% of the entire world population. Scale that to today and you're looking at 250 million equivalent. The 1877 Super El Niño triggered simultaneous droughts across India, China, Brazil, and East Africa. Crops failed on four continents at the same time. The famine lasted three years. Researchers have called it "arguably the worst environmental disaster to ever befall humanity." NOAA's latest update gives a two-in-three chance this one reaches strong or very strong by fall. European models are even more aggressive. Sea surface temperatures need to exceed 2°C above normal to qualify as "super." The trajectory is pointing directly at that threshold. Here's what makes 2026 structurally different from every previous Super El Niño: there are two independent supply shocks converging on the same crop cycle. The Iran war has shut down roughly a third of the world's seaborne fertilizer trade through the Strait of Hormuz. US fertilizer supply was at 75% of normal in mid-March, right when the Corn Belt needed it most. Fertilizer prices hit their highest level since 2022. That input shortage is already baked into the 2026 growing season. The El Niño yield shock operates on a 6 to 12 month lag. India is forecasting below-normal monsoons for the first time in three years. Indonesia and Malaysia carry 90% of global palm oil, and El Niño production declines in those countries take 6 to 24 months to peak. Every strong El Niño in the past 55 years has reduced global cocoa production. So the fertilizer shortage weakens the crops El Niño is about to stress, and the El Niño yield collapse hits in 2027 on fields that were already under-fertilized in 2026. Two shocks with nearly identical lag structures, converging on the same harvest window. The difference between 1877 and 2026: we can see this one coming six months out. The commodity futures curve is barely pricing either shock. Whether that's rational discounting or willful denial depends entirely on what the Pacific Ocean does between now and October.

🚨: The 2026 “Super El Niño” is projected to be the strongest in 150 years

Bill C-22 empowers the government to order VPN providers in Canada to retain metadata for up to a year. The EU's highest court has struck down this type of mass data retention legislation twice already, suggesting it won't stand up to scrutiny: 1. eff.org/node/81899 2. ccdcoe.org/incyder-articl… We're going to reiterate this one more time: there is no universe in which Proton VPN compromises its no-logs policy.
David Peterson@davidgpeterson

Regarding Canada's Bill C-22: @ProtonVPN is Swiss. Complying with foreign surveillance orders without Swiss legal process is a criminal offence. Not happening. We'll defend our Canadian users and never compromise them. We will fight C-22's application by every means available.

COVID changed my worldview permanently. Nearly six years after COVID began, not one world leader has seriously examined what the vaccines did to the people they harmed. Not one investigation. Not one parliamentary inquiry with genuine teeth. Not one head of state who has stood at a podium and said, we owe the injured an honest accounting and we are going to provide it. The silence is universal. And it is coordinated in a way that individual negligence cannot explain. This is the observation that matters most to me, more than any document, more than any leaked communication, more than any specific piece of evidence. Because the behaviour of every major government simultaneously tells you something that the individual pieces cannot tell you alone. Genuine public health emergencies produce genuine review. What worked. What did not. Who was harmed and how. That is what accountable institutions do. What we have instead is a wall. And on the other side of that wall, the vaccine injured, still without diagnostic codes, still without compensation, still without the basic acknowledgment that what happened to them was real. While Long COVID is promoted heavily by the same governments and the same media that will not ask a single honest question about the injections. The parallel presentations. The overlapping symptoms. The convenient framing that points everywhere except at the product. The universal silence of world leaders on vaccine injury is not the behaviour of people who have nothing to hide. It is the behaviour of people who have collectively decided that the cost of honesty exceeds the cost of continued silence. That decision is itself the answer.

The CBC "prank show" deception scandal is getting so much worse. The producers (operating under fake identities/fake company names with fake websites) told a number of RCMP veterans - people who dedicated their lives to serving on the frontlines - that they were invited to film for a show called "Life After Service." A ceremony to thank them for their service would follow, and they were told dignitaries would be present. This would take place at the CBC Vancouver studio. They were told to come in uniform. When the RCMP vets arrived at the CBC Vancouver studio on March 25th and 26th, the "pranksters" took their phones away, which they claimed was CBC Vancouver studio policy. The former RCMP officers were also placed in front of an audience of what they were told were about two dozen "journalists." And it was sprung on them that this was a "live broadcast", with "media availability" afterwards! Then the producers switched up the whole session to be not about life after service, but the historical wrongs committed by the RCMP against indigenous peoples - to berate these vets for being part of the RCMP. There is so much more but I am hoping the individuals targeted in this elaborate scheme will be able to share their stories themselves. Seriously, what even sounds remotely funny or silly about this concept? It is just sick and cruel @CBCNews and @APTNNews... what are you thinking?

I just can't say this loudly enough: The global balance of power for the next 50-100 years will be determined by who is first to make nuclear energy cost less than coal and gas. Energy dominance directly leads to geopolitical dominance; history is crystal clear on that. China is quietly kicking the West's ass down the street. America's present nuclear renaissance is exactly the right recipe, but it's going to prove too little too late at the rate we're going. China will assume the role of global dominance USA enjoyed for the last 80 years for the next 100 years, and it will have been our failure to modernize and economize our nuclear energy strategy that cause the West to lose our dominance. This story will take decades to play out, but the handwriting on the wall couldn't be more clear: China is kicking our ass and we're too goddamned stupid and complacent to realize it. DOE's nuclear leadership under @SecretaryWright and companies like @AaloAtomics are fantastic news for America. But compared to China's nuclear energy program, we're so far behind that it will be nearly impossible to catch up. And we handed China all the American-made technology they needed on a silver platter. It sickens me to see what's coming so clearly and have so many around me completely blind to it.

🇨🇳 China's Mind-Boggling Nuclear Factory: 50 Reactors at Once 🤯 If you think the nuclear industry is stuck in slow motion, look at China. They just announced a jaw-dropping capability: they can now construct up to 50 nuclear reactors simultaneously. To put their absolute dominance into perspective, here is what the scoreboard looks like right now: 🟢 60 Reactors already up, running, and powering the grid. 🏗️ 36 Reactors actively under construction—which accounts for over half of the entire world's total nuclear builds. 🚀 7 More scheduled to be commissioned and turned on before the year ends. 🛠️ How Are They Doing It? This isn't luck; it's a massive industrial playbook execution. China has turned nuclear deployment into a streamlined assembly line using: Standardized Designs: No re-inventing the wheel with every build. Mature Supply Chains: Every part and piece arrives exactly when and where it is needed. Decisive Execution: Unwavering state momentum to deliver massive, clean, reliable baseload power at scale. The Wake-Up Call: Nuclear isn't just a viable alternative for a clean energy transition; it is entirely essential for a high-energy future. The West needs to match this raw ambition or risk falling permanently behind in the global energy race. 🔗 Dive deeper into the full data: #aseanreport" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">nuclearbusiness-platform.com/asia/market-ov… #NuclearEnergy #NuclearPower #EnergySecurity #CleanEnergy #China #SMR #Infrastructure

Trey & Lea's Stronger Marriages
Instead of giving a hard "NO" to your spouse when they bring up sexual intimacy, consider telling them "Can I give you a rain-check". One of the things we've learned that has blessed our marriage is we don't say NO to one another sexually. That's hard on someone when they are being vulnerable. In those times when one of us asks and we're just "not able" ... instead of saying "No!" ... we say "I'll give you a rain-check." Giving a "rain-check" say's I'll make it up to you later, and is better and less painful than just saying "No." AND ... our rules say you have 48 hours to make good on your rain check promise. Try it ... it will bless your marriage.

Imagine your cousin is completely drowning financially. Maxed-out credit cards. Can barely make the interest payments. Behind on the mortgage. One missed paycheck away from collapse. Now imagine instead of tightening the budget…he doubles the limit on every credit card he owns. Not to build assets. Not to increase income. Not to solve the problem. Just to keep spending. Then he starts giving your family money. Not because they’re starving or because it’s an emergency but because he wants to look generous. He wants social points. He wants to feel important. Meanwhile his own kids can’t afford groceries. The roof leaks. The furnace is breaking and he keeps saying: “Everything is fine.” Then you find out he’s spending hundreds of thousands in luxury private expenses like vacations, new cars and dinners out while lecturing everyone else about sacrifice. And if you tried to intervene? He’d accuse YOU of being selfish for asking him to stop lighting money on fire. That’s basically how the Canadian government manages your tax dollars. Like a gambling addict with your credit card. Billions overseas non-emergency issues. Millions in personal luxury expenses. Doubling the national debt. But don’t worry, just like your gambling addict cousin, they’re going to come to you with their next great “opportunity.”
