The main board (TAF-MAIN-01)
A-SIDE contains the MCU STM32L053 and 2x 16MB Winbond W25Q128JVPQ presumably for audio content storage.
B-SIDE contains the contacts for settings interface button and the LCD display connector.

If the @nothing phone (a) series maintains a yearly release schedule, and the flagship series being skipped this year, their numbers will be misaligned and that causes a bit of a conundrum.
Do they choose to keep the numbers aligned, or will they just keep going with the (4) and (5a) going into 2027? Do they skip the (5a) next year and let the flagship series catch up?

adding onto this so people know: Nothing had an RSVP form for you to fill before going to the store, which asked for your name, email, and location
meaning they knew EXACTLY how many people were going, how to contact those people, and how far those people had travelled to be at the event.
they had all that info and STILL messed up the crowd management and straight up told people that RSVP’d to go home- what was the form for then?
(im sure not everyone there RSVP’d but the least Nothing could’ve done is let everyone that did rsvp form a queue or something)
i’m not the only one disappointed by the event either, the comments on Nothing’s posts here and their reels on IG are filled with of people sharing their experience.
and about the police beating up people-
i’ve gotten a video of Nothing’s host threatening people with a police beating (before the police even said anything themselves)
while i don’t have any pics/videos of when the police actually DID hurt people, my source for that info is one of Nothing’s own community mods, so it’s definitely legit..

i’m sorry, but i genuinely can’t believe how bad Nothing’s Store launch event was over a thousand people showed up, but they only let 200 in and told everyone else to “go away and come back tomorrow”. there were people that had been waiting in line since 5 am. people that had travelled hours to be there. i myself travelled 15 hours to be here, and i’ve gotta start going back home this evening. wdym “just come back tomorrow”? as if that wasn’t bad enough, literally no one from Nothing was actually interacting with the people waiting- they were all inside the Store, and behind a bunch of barricades. instead, they’d hired like 40 guards to “control the crowd”, so it was just a bunch of big men yelling at and shoving everyone in the crowd. i’m so disappointed rn because Nothing started as a community focused enthusiast brand. does any of this feel “community focused” to you? as i’m typing this, i just got a call from one of my friends there. turns out right after i left, the police got involved and started beating up people waiting in front of the Nothing store i genuinely don’t know what to say anymore, this is just terrible. i hope no one’s seriously hurt. Nothing- please learn from this. this isn’t how you should treat your fans.

@WaterFlashRZ, a developer from our community, just added support for CMF Headphone Pro and Neckband Pro to Ear (web), a web app that lets you control @nothing audio settings from your browser. Since 2023, he’s continuously expanded it to support new Nothing products as they launch.
Our community builds what they want to exist. Developers saw potential in our Glyph Interface and built app ecosystems. Glyphify became an advanced glyph composer, Dot Hub reached 10,000+ downloads. Others created n-dial as a dialer, Noting Notes for note-taking, Core Music as a music player. When members wanted fonts for different languages, they designed them.
This inspired our annual Community Edition campaign where fans co-create real products with us. For Phone (3a) Community Edition, 700+ people submitted concepts for hardware, accessories, software, and marketing.
