My $200K Portfolio Update (as of 1st March 2026): YTD: -8.29% vs S&P 500: +0.68% Recent moves: Doubled $UBER last week ~$70.80 (nice bounce since), grabbed a tiny bit more $META (couldn't resist) This week: $PRL.TO reports tomorrow (March 2) after close + $GTLB Tuesday after close. Eyes on those. 1% cash → likely more $META this week. Conviction holds. Wide moat grind continues.

GoEasy $GSY is now down another 40%, on top of a 50% haircut after earnings. When the fundamental story changes, you don't wait for a bounce. Holding and hoping is not an investment strategy.

UPDATE: I have completely exited my $GSY.TO position this morning at $44.55 for a total loss of $17,368.56 CAD.

Today’s trade: sold half of my GoEasy shares (67% loss) - Fortunately small position (less than 2%)

You have to take ownership of mistakes. I got creamed on $GSY.TO Currently it's the largest loss I've had as an investor, and I've learned a ton of valuable lessons. It's definitely a setback, though. The one thing that controlled this from being a truly terrible loss was me trimming in the 180s on the way up, and not adding aggressively on the way back down. But that doesn't make up for it. It's time to learn, refocus, and move on.
