@NoblestCalling Maybe that's why mothers experience morning sickness... to remember how dominating the body can be over what you can eat and how little you really can survive on lol.

It's not abuse but it is a bad idea anyways. Also people with this attitude are usually way over serving the kids anyways. If I let my MIL dish up my kids plates she gives them more food than my 6'4" adult husband could eat and then gets upset that they don't finish it. A serving size of most meats for a toddler is like 2 tablespoons

Unpopular opinion : forcing a child to eat everything on their plate is a form of abuse .

@EV_Trapper I am in the process of moving my mom in with me for this exact reason. She had a decent 401k until inflation theft made it a fraction of the value it should be worth. She shouldn't have to think that using a paper towel instead of a rag is too much of a luxury.

My 95 year old grandmother pays $2000 in property taxes & another $3000 in school taxes every single year on a house that was built in 1850 that is falling apart. She was widowed in 1973 & as a single mother of 6 worked everyday of her life until she was in her mid 70s. She gets $10,000 a year from the federal government to live on, but once you subtract $5000 in taxes she is left with $5000 for the rest of the year to buy food, supplies & bills. Are people really this uneducated on this issue? Oh my god.
Deva Hazarika@devahaz

FYI seniors already get homestead exemptions, lowered assessments, tax credits, and deferral plans to help with property taxes based on their state and income level

@aliceisplaying Yeap... 33% of all restaurant workers die when they go into walk in fridge/freezers at work. We just continously replace them with more workers every time they need to get some lettiuce. Lmao

@reddit_lies Wow... what this told me is I rate myself way too low... I call myself a 2 or 3 because I am overweight but: no acne, weigh less, significantly taller, good proportions and facial structure.

@Wildernessy9 @9Sling @KatelynTweeter Did you also read how it takes the HUMAN RIGHTS away from the pregnant women? It does not matter what happens in a women’s body to society it is our fucking bodies.

Dear pro-choicers, What exact week does an unborn baby change from a "clump of cells" into a human? And don't say it's gradual because: Week 1: unique DNA Week 6: heartbeat detected Week 7: synapses in brain Week 16: hiccups Week 20: organs measurable Week 24: viability Week 30: fingernails formed Week 36: lungs ready So, which is it? Where do you draw the line and begin to bestow human rights?

@Austen He also circled the part of the south that had the fewest slaves. Appalachia isn’t racist, historically they were just trying to survive. Completely absurd take by him.

Restoring Your Faith in Humanity
A Ukrainian woman wanted to record herself doing garden work when the air defense started firing on a Russian Shahed drone. While she and her dogs were very afraid, you can see how the German shepherd tries to protect her anyway.

@Risto9649 @KatelynTweeter Except that women are dying from being denied life saving care for MISCARRIAGES, so clearly you aren't all that concerned about women.

@9Sling @KatelynTweeter It has never been a right to kill for convience.... if you want to take that argument to society at large you won't like the outcome.

@KatelynTweeter Pro-choicer here. An unborn baby is human from fertilization on. Human rights do not and should never exist for the unborn because it removes the human rights from the pregnant woman. Birth, as always has been, is when personhood is bestowed.

@MarcusDAurelius I was cooking my own dinner since I was 8 (mom worked nights). There was cereal or sandwiches if I wanted it, but I was high maintenance and wanted hot food so I'd make Mac n Cheese (boil noodles, drain, add butter and shredded cheese). Bag of carrots and ranch for veggies.

No. What we did when Mom and Dad were working late was microwave leftovers. Mom and Dad had to BE THERE TO ORDER A PIZZA because they'd have to pay for it. Stop telling us about how we actually lived when you've only cooked up resentful fantasies about it.
Spring Time Seany ☦️@FloridaFloGrown

@NeedlesslyWordy Dude are serious? How old are you? Did you not order pizza growing up? It wasn't a luxury for rich people lol. It was just something you did when mom and dad were working late or tired

@justabonelady @Missy_dee811 Fun fact, they changed the taste of Brussels Sprouts in the 90s by selective breeding to make them less bitter. I'm with you, and totally recommend using an air fryer on them... adding some goat cheese too.

@Missy_dee811 That’s how I feel about Brussels sprouts tbh. That most people haven’t had them prepared properly. I love a good roasted Brussels sprout with like bacon and balsamic etc.

@japan_nobunaga @JoshSabboth That is a federal requirement so applies to all states as a minimum. Many states have additional regulations, like licensing, type restrictions, and a multiday waiting peroid. Most big stores don't sell guns anymore, you have to go to a gun shop or sporting store.

@japan_nobunaga @JoshSabboth Private sales are allowed but are limited to something like 4 guns/year for seller. The sellers are cautious because they can be sued if the gun is used in a crime and they were deemed negligent. Most people buy from specific stores where a federal background check is required.

Hello from Japan 🇯🇵👋 I have a question for Americans 🇺🇸🙋 I've never seen a real gun in my life. Only in anime and movies. Is it true that Americans sometimes see guns at stores like Walmart? In Japan, we only see them on TV. Is that normal in America? 🤔

@Idrewabird @NineCato @thebasedbunny She literally did an equivilent adjust by showing the minimum wage at the time, no wonder you can't afford shit... you're beyond retarded. At least people with actual mental disabilities instead of chosen retardeness have an excuse for having trouble with basic concepts.
