Cannabis is detrimental to sperm: even if they can fertilize, there can be DNA damage. Many miscarriages and (in the case of IVF) “day 3 crashes” which is when paternal DNA normally kicks in, are cannabis related. Dr Natalie Crawford on the Huberman Lab podcast out now.

"An autonomous agent with a $500,000 treasury will need the equivalent of a money market fund with predictable yield, deep liquidity, minimal smart contract risk, and no counterparty who can freeze or seize its assets. DeFi on Ethereum increasingly meets this criteria. Hacks and losses continue to exist, but they are increasingly rare and concentrated at the speculative edges of the ecosystem. A stable core of applications has proven remarkably robust through repeated stress events, and that track record is something no other chain has replicated." DeFi losses as a fraction of TVL on Ethereum Mainnet:

Why are we going to bomb Iran again? To “obliterate” a nuclear weapons program we just obliterated a few months ago? To trigger regime change? US interventions have only produced democracy 4 out of 17 times? Do we have an actual plan or just winging it? American voters deserve answers to these questions before we go to war.

@Wendi_Irlbeck @mcuban All the mentioned supplements make the kidneys work harder. I think it is better to split into groups and take on different days. D3, K2 and magnesium should be taking on the same day and together, or take magnesium separate time on the same day, or with creatine.

@mcuban I’d recommend daily creatine (10g), vitamin D3 + K2, magnesium, fish oil, whey protein and tart cherry juice. Together, these support muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and aid overall performance.

I don’t take any workout supplements. But I sweat a lot. So I’ll add LMNT to my water. I’m an orthopedic nightmare. 2 torn rotator cuffs. 2 herniated discs. 2 replaced hips. And more. Thank you rugby and basketball. I started this class 3 years ago. It was a slow start. ngl. Particularly running on the treadmill. It hurt. 2 things were critical. 1. When I changed my shoes to the ANTA c202 , they are super cushioned which was a huge difference. It made running a little bouncier which allowed me to speed up and actually improve my form. Found them when kyrie did a deal with them. amzn.to/4kyHPPI 2. When I worked out when I was younger, I competed with everyone else. I’m competitive to a fault. In everything. Now I just compete with myself and it’s actually easier to make gains. If I add a point or speed up or whatever I’m smiling to myself all day long. I went from treadmill running at 15m mile, L4 to L5 to L6 to now moving to L7. I won’t stop there. From not being able to box jump 20” to 24 and hopefully I can get to 30. Etc etc. With weights, started with much lower weights and try to bump up when I think I’m ready. If it hurts. I stop. I have limits in things I can’t do that kill my shoulders. So I do a lot of close grip bench, about 175lbs and slowly creeping up. Close grip bar curls. prison curls. And much lower weight with barbells. No burpees. It takes time, but it’s worth it. Of course diet makes a big difference. I write down everything in @MyFitnessPal. As I got older I had to reduce my calories and pay attention to where I get my nutrients. Our bodies are far less forgiving as we get older. You have to figure out the mix of food and nutrients that work for you. Food is medicine. The other breakthrough for me was stretching. I’m fortunate I can hire someone to beat me up and get me realigned. It’s painful but worth it. And I literally will do yoga classes from YouTube. With my shoulders, downward dogs hurt. I’m not going to not do them in a yoga class. So I do yoga in front of an iPad 🤷🏼‍♂️ Now I just have to keep it up for the next 30 years !

@mcuban @Mappy6984 Are you taking anything to help? I ask because I am 63 and getting back to working out. Curious what us older guys need besides good diet and exercise to maintain good health.

DIEM is the only crypto token that enables free (and private) use of Clawdbot/@openclaw 1. Create Venice.ai account and stake DIEM 2. Install @openclaw and select Venice as inference provider 3. Choose Opus 4.5 or Kimi K2.5 (latter is nearly as intelligent but totally private) as model Each DIEM staked gets you 100 credits renewing daily of inference. You can sell the DIEM when you're done. Ten years ago, @gavofyork created the EVM and it became industry consensus. Everyone started launching EVM-based chains, and the world split into EVM chains and non-EVM chains. Today, a decade later, Gavin introduces JAM. And it’s poised to become the next consensus. Soon, the industry may only talk about JAM chains and non-JAM chains.🏄‍♀️
PolkaWorld@polkaworld_org

I just finished translating @gavofyork's long-form interview, and I can’t help but share a few thoughts.🩷 If you break Gavin’s life into pieces, you’ll notice a strikingly clear — almost stubborn — through-line: he has never been someone who uses systems. He has always been someone who invents the rules. At five or six, he was exploring a second-hand box of LEGO without a manual. At nine, he was in his bedroom writing the “first line of fate” on his very first computer. As a teenager, he wasn’t satisfied with playing games — he built his own: Dark Times, a homemade Bomber Man, turning classmates and magazine reviewers into his players. Later, he taught himself AMOS, C++, OpenGL; he wrote games, built websites, tinkered with samplers, designed tabletop games — again and again turning the worlds in his mind into systems other people could step into. Taken separately, these moments look like the hobby list of a gifted geeky kid. But from where we stand today, they reveal something deeper: Gavin never really believed in the “world handed down by authority.” He cared far more about whether he could design a fairer, more playful world of his own. Whether it’s the rules of an open-world game, or the crypto-economic and governance architectures behind @ethereum, @Polkadot, and now JAM — it’s all, at its core, the same pursuit: Not telling people which path to walk, but building a world where paths can be discovered and invented. Not trusting authority, but letting rules themselves stand up to authority. So when we talk about @gavofyork today, we’re not just talking about “a founder of a blockchain” or “a technical mind.” We’re looking at someone who started practicing with LEGO and ended up extending that imagination into games, hardware, tabletop systems, social structures, and Web3 — someone who has spent his entire life grappling with one question: “If rules aren’t made to control people, but to unleash human creativity, what could the world look like if we redesigned it from scratch?” That’s what makes the conversation you’re about to read truly compelling.

Gavin Wood: “JAM offers the same kind of opportunity I had the day I first heard about Ethereum.” When @gavofyork talks about his beginnings, he always describes it casually: a friend told him someone was building a new protocol called @ethereum and needed someone to implement it. So he picked up the whitepaper and started coding — no grand vision, no career plan. We all know what happened next — Ethereum launched, the Yellow Paper emerged, and an entire industry began to take shape. But Gavin is clear about one thing —— “Writing code is where everything starts — and it’s always the most reliable path.” Today, JAM is at a similar early stage. The protocol is still forming, clients are being implemented, and many core pieces remain unexplored. Because of that, JAM gives real builders the same kind of chance Gavin had back then — a chance to shape the foundations, influence the standards, and determine how future developers will use this technology. “This is the path I took. And if new builders today have the same passion and ability, nothing stops them from taking it too — only this time, the destination is JAM, not Ethereum.” 🏄‍♀️
