Uganda tourism industry, behind the scene embarrassments. It’s a cultural shock for me to see what I saw at one of the aerodromes, Adjumani. Using #MAF, we headed for Arua but through Adjumani to drop off a passenger and pick another. Landing here in the middle of a village was in itself scary but not surprising to the pilot. He does this everyday. We all disembarked to use toilets after a 2 hour flight. Out of 12 people onboard, only two were Ugandans. Others were Europeans. Entering what would be toilets - OMG!😱. Filthy! Using the bush could be better here. Who manages these assets? In the waiting office, no cleaning at all and hygiene is bad. @kyamageroandrew in your earlier tweet, you said Ugandans hate and embarrass their nation abroad! But if we have such assets meant to be used by tourists and there is no responsible person from Uganda tourism board supervising, what do you expect from us? To keep quiet? I was just shy not to show the filthy toilets and offices. We’re a shameless lot. Someone should lose his job in Civil Aviation. This is 2025. Let’s do better at our jobs.

Friends, I promised you a book. It has by leaps & bounds come this far. I am excited that my story is gona be told by me & nobody else. Hope it will inspire someone else. I however, have a decision to make. Which cover design should I go with? @PoliceUg
