@devabram Knowing how things work is going to be a hobby in life - productive people making software in the future know this and so I’m glad tuat Trend is happening - if we have another species to do the heavy lifting for us and augment how we produce things that’s a good thing

50% of juniors I have seen in my career probably should not be software developers. They were deeply incurious, no interest in tech nor to understand how things work. Software development makes you use and train your mind for your whole career. That's a brutal thing to do casually. Doing something like that without any real interest is bad for your own life.

Finished review of 40+ videos set for declassification out of @DeptofWar in coming weeks this am. We are standing with the NEW and very QUALIFIED Director of AARO who now has my full support and has proven through action that he is working in good faith on declass efforts. 🇺🇸

Absolutely no one should take @neiltyson seriously on anything remotely adjacent to UAP / UFO’s. I know personally that he refused an opportunity to meet with senior government officials who were advocating for transparency on this issue. As Kristin says, he has spent his entire career dismissing and mocking the subject. I don’t know if his intentions are knowingly malicious, but the effect of his behavior has hindered public progress on this issue. Furthermore, he conflates advanced, non-human technologies with “aliens from another galaxy”. This is the same tactic employed by the Pentagon’s OUSD(I&S), their PAO, former AARO director, and CIA DS&T. Throwing the baby out with the bath water / guilt by association / straw man / red herring. He sure is a fantastic communicator though. Great on television.
