@RolltheredDev @veol_vrc my personal belief is that people that pirate shouldnt be considered potential clients because they wouldnt buy the asset anyway
yes there are some exceptions, but its a minority
personally after 8 years of vrc, if i sold assets, id just ignore the piracy, cant stop it anyway+

Yeah ive seen this too, if you google search CineShades which is the only product i currently sell, one of the first results is a pirate site hosting the files.
I barely get paid enough from sales to continue development of it.
Pirates demoralize small creators, remember this.

Rant time Im so annoyed at how normalised booth piracy has become in the west, especially in my own friend circles. people casually swap download links like its nothing. ive literally had strangers offer me links to download my OWN outfit when i said i liked the outfit they where in. thats where we are now. and the excuses are always the same. 'i wasnt gonna buy it anyway' okay so you dont get to use it. cant have your cake and eat it. 'its too expensive' buy something cheaper. 'ill only wear it a few times.' 'im broke.' 'its free advertising so its fine.' its not, its stealing. But you put yourself on a moral high ground. you're stealing from small creators. people like me. and the worst part is how casual its gotten. if you see it, if you hear it in your circles, call it out. stop letting it slide. thats the only reason it become so normal. The fact that its normal is just disgusting pic unrelated me in the new fit. maybe you should buy it i suppose...

@RolltheredDev @veol_vrc yeah, that and what op said about it being normalized, piracy and "sharing" has been the norm in the community since always, so i guess a lot people just treat it like a normal thing that they are used to
