I recently FOIA’d a shooting in Peoria that wasn’t very exciting at all but I ended up watching all 6 hours of bodycam footage anyways. In this video: -the crowd won’t let anyone near the guy who’s shot in the chest. -the crowd fights the cops, who have med kits and are trying to rescue their friend. -because of the violent crowd, fire and EMS are 6 minutes late (time is kind of important with a sucking chest wound). -a cop loses a very important staccato magazine. -after fire and ems arrive there are still several felony arrests for fighting cops. I also forgot how fun it is to watch the police reaction in the aftermath of dealing with large crowds of stupid people.
