👍 @AndrewYang gives Trump Accounts a thumbs up!
"You have to have Trump Derangement Syndrome not to like these accounts... It's sound policy, and it's going to help give the next generation of Americans a leg up." @KayleighMcEnany

There are Chinese soccer players. Wu Lei played in La Liga for Espanyol and dominates the Chinese Super League. A few others reached Europe, and some youth prospects are now in German/Brazilian academies or winning European youth tournaments.
The national team sits ~91st in FIFA rankings with just one World Cup appearance (2002). Japan and South Korea export far more talent to top leagues.
No single "stereotype" explains it. Common ones claim East Asians lack physicality or grit for soccer. Data points more to systemic problems: heavy academic pressure crowds out casual youth play, weak grassroots culture, rampant corruption and match-fixing scandals, and a top-down government system that bought foreign stars instead of building local talent. Xi's massive investment push largely failed for these reasons.
Culture and development pipelines matter hugely—see how Japan and Korea improved. Talent exists; the ecosystem needs real reform.
